I know that I have been on facebook too much when I get disappointed when there isn't a "like" button to awesome posts here. I do know that I can reply to posts with +1 but it isn't just the same...
Anyone else feels the same?
-
Lol I agree. SR needs a Like button!!
-
dont forget the dislike button
-
Just turn the SR Forum into a Reddit-style page instead.
-
^ Yeah, that's just what we need...

haha ... fancy seeing you here, fellow redditor. I wonder how many redditors are on here.
Actually, reddit style or even stackexchange style forums would be awesome for something like this. Vendors could be voted up or down, along with posts of course. Reddit is open source and there is a open source alternative for stackexchange.

I'll happily set up a hidden service with a Reddit-style site so that we can try it out and see if it is something people prefer to use. I guess an admin can PM me if this is something they're interested in?

Hahahaha! I agree, I spend far too much time on facebook. It is an intriguing idea...
But I love the underground style of SR. Market and forums are both great to me. One thing that I think could be considered would be an Instant Messaging system, to talk to vendors and other buyers up front instead of waiting for PM and forum replies. But then of course, vendors would be SWAMPED with 100's of newbs and tourists in general to SR about mundane information that's on their profiles ::)
It's fun to talk about though :P an SR Like button
-
I've thought the exact same thing MANY times, lmao! Not just on SR but alot of places, I'll see something I like and scan the page for a "like" button, even if I know there's not supposed to be one there. Facebook is taking over, no one is safe!

Possible candidates for buttons:
Like button.
Scam button.
Troll button.
Anti-Moonbear button.
LSD scam button.
and of course...

That was pretty funny.
-
Facebook sucks!

From what I've seen and the people I've talked to, a lot of people here are on Reddit as well. Including myself. It's a pretty popular site, it shouldn't be that surprising.

This is awesome! But you need to provide some more details about the security measures on the machine.

I'm pretty sure the Redditor ratio on silk road is fairly high. Last time i heard it was #18 on the list of most popular sites on the clear web. So, just by sheer numbers, reddit will be wherever you look for it.
i would like to see some poll, or something, showing redditors, to 4chaners, to tumblr? (do they evern have a following?)
i for one, would have given a plethora of upvotes, had the forums allowed it.
and my anti-moonbear aurora plug-in, would be working non stop.

Does this exist? I want an anti-moonbear aurora plug-in.
-
if you stick a joint up your arse you should get a pop-up dialog box on your browser asking you if your moonbear, just click "no", and then place your mouse on your lap and Microsoft Intellipoint will verify your not moonbear and detect if your balls have dropped and will then filter any Moonbear related content on the boards.
