Title: ISC NEW YORK NY(USPS)?
Post by: Tommyhawk on January 04, 2012, 02:36 pm
I've ordered multiple packages out of the country to the US, all of them went through succesfully, but their first stop in the country was JAMAICA, NY 11430.

Now I have this one package that went to ISC NEW YORK NY (International Sorting Center, AKA Customs) instead, and it has been sitting there for 2 days... All my packages were express mail meaning they shouldn't take more than 3 days, 4 at the most with delays. It's been almost 5 shipping days(minus holidays and nonshipping days)... and it still hasn't left the center.

Should I be concerned? Has my package been discovered? If it comes through should I worry about a controlled delivery(it is an amount that they could potentially do it).

Perhaps I'm just paranoid, but who knows. Please post what you know about ISC and why it would go there versus the usual place it goes

Yea I think you may be a bit paranoid. Last package I had was from Canada, and it was also express. It took about 4 days to get out of ISC New York, New York. Just be patient, and it should update soon. They also wouldn't do a controlled delivery if it was a relatively small order. They have a lot better things to waste thousands of dollars on. Being paranoid is a good thing though with a site like this. Helps to keep yourself secure.

It was just 3 ounces of weed, is that worth a controlled delivery?

I'm in the same boat. Been sitting there since Dec 31. See this is why you use drop addresses then you don't even have to worry. Peace of mind is worth the price of fake IDs and a PO box.

3 ounces isn't that bad, but it is a little much. If it doesn't update in a few days, I'd start to worry. Also, I would take into consideration how flawed the USPS is updating their online status. It may arrive at the destination even before it updates online.

I recently had a priority package with DCN not even get scanned AT DELIVERY. They are really slacking lately.
