hi all. . I'm posting on behalf of BitVPS in order to advertise our services to the fine users of Silk Road.
We sell virtual private (and dedicated) servers in exchange for Bitcoin. So far we have two clusters (one in Dallas and one in Chicago) and, being relatively new, we're growing all the time. We have dynamic pricing, we have full virtualization, and our clusters are guaranteed never to be overcrowded.
Here's the thing, Silk Roaders: No warez, no Tor, and no illegal activity. While Bitcoin is a semi-anonymous currency, these VPS are not. You will be required to fill in your information. If those terms are unacceptable to you; don't even bother applying -- your order will be discarded.
Right now you can get hooked up with a basic server starting in the range of 3-4 BTC. We do offer discounts for hosting Bitcoin-related projects. Over the holidays I am doing a little bit of a sales drive to bring in customers.

It's hard to for me to be chilled out when I see posts like this but..
What a waste of fucking time, your coming on a drug forum (that also contains other questionable items/topics) offering servers where you can't stay anonymous and have to "provide information"
+ no Tor or illegal activity (I'm assuming includes selling/buying drugs).

you call this a "drug forum"? the unstated truth is that Silk Road is actually probably the biggest market through which bitcoin transactions are made. .
it makes sense that we want to make sure YOU know that this service exists.
also i did not repost because anybody locked my thread; i realized it belongs in off-topic.
then, you're so badass and above-the-law that you laugh at the perfectly understandable terms of my company?
(forgive me, i'll just go to jail for your ass when you fall afoul of the fuzz.)

You're using a forum premised around the trade of illegal substances and anonymity trying to self promote your services which requires full personal information?
The Silk Road Forums is not a bulletin for you to advertise your services. I recommend google adwords.
