the title says it all for the most part, a package didn't arrive to the US from NL. No surprises, it happens. The real question is can anything be sent to that address again, especially from the NL. Package that was lost didn't have much in it, but is the address marked for good now? There was no note from the post or customs saying they seized anything, so in theory it could have disappeared in the NL for all I know.
What do you all think?

All I can say is that a lot of packages, letters send by TNT post.nl get lost in NL, it's a very unreliable company. And I am also talking about the packages within the NL (NL-NL).

Just be safe and get a new drop.

Hard to say...
I can't comment on how things work in the US but I went through a period where I lost a couple of orders and was convinced that my address was marked but after receiving a flood of newer orders I realised that it wasn't flagged and the missing packages obviously didn't arrive for some unrelated reason.
My advice is if you have access to a new drop then by all means use it but if not order something small and "semi-legal" and see what happens.

im in the same situation right now. i ordered form NL about 3 weeks ago an nothing has come in yet. im not sure what happened as i have not received an letters from customs or anything like that. im really starting to think my shipment is lost forever. i guess its possible that our shipments are just sitting in some sorting facility or something an just taking a REALLY long time because of X-Mas. but im starting to lose all hope of that =( basically who knows bro.

They surely don't have the resources to check every address of incoming mail against some database of flagged addresses. Actually, just thinking about it, it probably wouldn't be too difficult to set up such a system, with cameras that translate and digitize the addresses as they roll by on the conveyor belt. But I don't think one is in place right now.

Once again I can't comment on other countries but Australia definitely does have a digitising system where they decipher the 4-digit postcodes by computer to speed up processing.
Nowadays it's more common to find envelopes for sale that have 4 pre-printed squares into which you are supposed to put the postcode. One digit per square.
I would say that most mail is sorted by machines and humans are only involved when there is a discrepancy of some kind.

Can I ask which vendors were mailing from NL and seemingly have the packages lost?

not sure if i want to disclose the vendors name. why do you ask?

I dont know if the "flag" addresses like people here claim. I have a friend that orders from the same address and he has had like 4 packages seized because he keeps ordering from NL. BUT, he still has alot of other packages with drugs make it at least once a week.

received recently 1 of 2 from NL that were sent at the same time to US. I'm sum-what confident the non-arrival package was sent. To test the theory of being put on "a list," I ordered a small amount of Hash from a highly respected vendor for their successful packaging and arrivals. My thought process was if I was on "a list," my package would get closer scrutiny and the Hash would be very easy to discover. Well, package (Hash) arrived in appropriate time without complication.
Although I am taking a break from ordering from NL

In my experience, if something is seized in the source country(NE in this case) there is usually no notification from customs, it's just gone.
However, if it makes it through customs and to the US customs and is seized, you will usually receive s letter stating such, giving you the option to "claim" the package with a list of it's contents.
Obviously you do not want to claim it. Just send the vendor a copy of the letter and some/most will attempt at least a partial reship.
