How do I get this thing to work? I've tried every silc client in the world for Windows and Mac, Pidgin just tells me it can't load my keys and I can't figure out how to generate new ones.

Help, every time I try to get on the chat, i type "silkroad" and it says I am the channel founder and I am always the only person in the room. I'm 99% sure something is wrong. :(

I reinstalled pidgin 6 times and recovered my PC twice before it worked, and I had that same problem!

I upgraded ubuntu and the magical Silc protocol disappeared from pidgin. ;(

All of you need to visit the main thread regarding SILC - there is all kinds of answers/questions addressing the problems you're stating.

It's a paperclipped topic on the main forum page - Not sure which section it's in, just look around.

Hi, I did a search for silc in the forum and only this thread appears maybe it got deleted with when all the other posts did.
