Title: Acidfriedmybrain Buyer Questioned By Customs?
Post by: fable on August 14, 2011, 05:24 pm
So I just saw acidfriedmybrains' latest review:

"Sends from the netherlands. Don't order unless you are 100% sure the customs won't catch his items and then invite you for an interview."

Is the reviewer on the forums to let us know more? Especially which country caught the package

You had to worry about customs before too.

If the seller does things the right way customs should not be an issue at all. It was my mistake for using this seller.

Oh really? Anytime you get an international pack you should be worried about customs. Just because someone else had a pack seized doesn't mean automatically that yours will be too. Thats if it was really seized in the first place, maybe this is just the troll feedback again. He certainly hasn't come forth with any details. What about the 1000 packs he has shipped that had no problem whatsoever? Your logic is flawed.

Yes, because we all know that government officials leave people alone when they do things the "right" way.  ::)  Customs' entire purpose is to interfere with the import/export of packages.   Even when shipping 100% "legal" packages internationally there's a fairly significant risk that customs will find some problem with it based on innumerable regulations on the transportation of goods across borders.

lol when people package, label, and ship items in a proper manner, the risk of a customs intervention is greatly reduced to almost near zero. I have received an uncountable number of packages of all kinds and sizes (illegal items) from all over the world and have never ever once had a problem with customs. And yes I see that he has had a lot of successful transactions but not 1000 of them. And there are also a lot that were never received or ones that somehow took over 3-4 weeks+ to arrive but were still rated 5/5.  That tells me that the product he sends is most likely real, but it also tells me he is mainly unreliable and does not function in a timely manner in any way. And who knows, most of his feedback could be bogus in the same way you say the feedback about customs could be a troll.. There is also the fact that after taking numerous orders he disappears from the site, don't acknowledge half of the orders, removes all listings, and doesn't reply to any messages. That is why I am saying it was my mistake for using this vendor.
