Confirmation of recent events
« on: December 20, 2013, 08:25:34 pm »
I am going to keep this brief, I have some decisions to make over the next few hours and I think what happens next will shape the future of this movement and everything I stand for. Such decisions and the burden they carry are mine to bear so I will take these privately in some peace.

It is true Libertas, Synergy (SSBD) and Inigo have now been arrested to the best of my knowledge. DPR initially requested their ID upon application to a staff position and they were kept on his laptop as leverage against staff should they ever try to turn against him. I believe law enforcement simply use forensic analysis of Ross Ulbricht's laptop to discover the files since it was decrypted for them and the date of the indictment as well as information pertaining to them matches my theory.

This information is not to be quoted from me, but you're free to try to speculate as long as no mention of me tipping you off is given.

Synergy (SSBD)

This connection doesn't seem to have been made in the court documents...

Fuck. I knew he was SSBD. I talked to him almost every day. "Symmetry" was listed as person on the docket. Nobody seems to have really made the connection yet.

So you decided to announce it on the public forum? Seriously?

It's not a secret, and it's not like it wasn't or hasn't come up. DPR did announce this in the press area Oz.

Synergy got me my job, and on several occasions we called each other friends. I really don't think the fact that SSBD is now linked to Synergy and was a double moderator is going to make his case worse. He's already been listed as a site admin.

Covering up info right now makes the situation look worse.

I didn't know him, but I made the Symmetry/Synergy connection, especially since he was arrested in Australia.

He told me that he liked the cut of my jib and called me "mate" ... so ... yeah, I figured he was in/from Oz.

I just realised I don't think I can say any of this about SSBD or I'll be in contempt under our laws. I don't know how it works if he's extradited though.

BTW, by you making this statement, it sort of messes up their chances of running the "It wasn't me" defence. I'm a little surprised they didn't have a backup plan of someone to take over the accounts in a situation like this to cause some sort of plausible doubt.

I was fuckin' worried about Synergy and asked around privately and DPR over here leaked it to VICE and Mashable! You kinda doxxed SSDB here a little DPR.

He could have just went off on vacation. Sarge quit.
