To allow staff to catch up with our work we have decided to close any new vendor applications. This measure will be in place for approximately 1 week and should give us time to push the major update we have been working on recently to get this place into working order.

Those currently in the process of being upgraded or paying their bond, you can continue as instructed in mail and old vendors can still verify with Sarge for the time being.

UPDATE: The delay has been extended for several more days to allow us to handle the Sheep/BMR influx. We will be introducing an automated system soon and the bond will be increasing too to an amount not yet decided at this time.

I'm very stressful that Sheep will close the site or something before I'll be able to copy my listings to SR. This will be a serious nightmare as I worked on it for weeks.

I totally understand the delay, bit gutted about the bond increase. $200 is fine gives me left over money for stock e.t.c and was ready to pay hence why i contacted you just before you closed registrations. I believe SR was $200 for at least a year before it increased to around $500. Hope the increase is nothing like that! This price increase delays me more and has only come about because different markets have closed.Don't mean to go just was excited and eager to jump on ship and had the bond money ready on the day it was extended lol!

DreamTeam, we all have to wait until seller accounts are available, and then go through the process like anyone else.

I wish we could just  message someone or post to be put on a waiting list, but it is not going to work that way.  I am watching a couple times a day because I need mine ASAP especially if there will be a limited amount.  If you want your account ASAP as well I suggest you keep an ear to the ground in the forum and you will get word here as soon as the new accounts are allowed again.

Its a catch 22, you need referrals and feedbck, but nobody wants to give you the opportunity to earn trust and feedback. I will do whatever needs to be done to verify my product with any potential buyers and the administration but nobody seems to be extending a hand....

Everyday I am chomping at the bit!  but your posts put my mind at ease, it is nice to know progress is being made!

And in re: to the "Good ole boys club" poster above:  There will be more buyers than vendors can even service at the rate things will grow so I do not think you need to worry about the whole club thing.  Also more transactions makes more comissions for the site so there is no reason for operators to do anything but encourage a true free market economic system.

I've been trying to become a vendor since the site first opened but so far my emails have been ignored.

I'm starting to think that SR2 is no more than a club for a small group of friends from the SR1 forums.

I have been thinking the same thing, but for now we just need to wait it out and just have faith in the Admins to get us all sellin. I really have found it hard to just sit on all my product =( and I really hope the "good ole' boys club" is just a figment of our imaginations.

As I mentioned in this post (http://silkroad5v7dywlc.onion/index.php?topic=6885.0), we could all use a small break from all of the uncertainty.  A determination of the new fee would go a long way toward alleviating some of the stresses involved for those of us trying to wait patiently for our opportunity to join the vendor community.

To allow staff to catch up with our work we have decided to close any new vendor applications. This measure will be in place for approximately 1 week and should give us time to push the major update we have been working on recently to get this place into working order.

Those currently in the process of being upgraded or paying their bond, you can continue as instructed in mail and old vendors can still verify with Sarge for the time being.

UPDATE: The delay has been extended for several more days to allow us to handle the Sheep/BMR influx. We will be introducing an automated system soon and the bond will be increasing too to an amount not yet decided at this time.

Looking forward to become a new vendor on SR 2.0 (we've send a signed message to support!)

yes but perhaps the captain is overwhelmed, he is just one dude trying to handle the bulk of responsibility in maintaining this market  and perhaps he's troubled finding trustworthy people to delegate work to! if this is the case i sincerely hope that he can partner up with good smart shipmates to balance the work and create a better flow because honestly it's too much for one superman to handle! and we want growth! we want more vendors, more business, anonymity in vast numbers. so let's hope that captain is able to find suitable help, that any coders who are able offer their services.

200 seems to be a fair bond. I hope it does NOT go up,  as 500 was only worth it with the volume of business one could do on the old SR.  This site will get there, but as it is I hope bond does not go above 200.  What do you think would be fair IhnZ?

Sorry for your loss at sheep but that has nothing to do with SR. Infact DPR has been nice enough to jump sheep vendors ahead of the queue of new registrations when he didn't have to. DPR stole the money, just not for himself. The vendor had open orders in escrow and DPR revoked his account after he had shipped the orders and sent the money back to the buyers. Dpr did a robinhood except he stole from the poor and gave it to the poorer.

I generally don't know what happened, i am intrigued. I can guarantee admin didn't steal any money though

DPR stole the money, just not for himself. The vendor had open orders in escrow and DPR revoked his account after he had shipped the orders and sent the money back to the buyers. Dpr did a robinhood except he stole from the poor and gave it to the poorer.

1. You are 100% wrong, it was 100% completely in compliance to sell your account on 1.0 It was not uncommon to see big names like DrWhite selling their accounts on the forums or vendor roundtable.

2. I have already hashed this out with the new SR staff and mods, it's completely fine as long as I comply with the rules and regulations.

I definitely remember a time where some people complained about their vendor accounts being banned because they "just wanted to sell it". If the old forums would be still up and running, i would show you a few of these threads. Maybe they changed it somewhere in the past, but for a part of the time it was forbidden.

I don't know how it's regulated here on SR2.0, i just wanted to mention how it was on SR1.0.

To allow staff to catch up with our work we have decided to close any new vendor applications. This measure will be in place for approximately 1 week and should give us time to push the major update we have been working on recently to get this place into working order.

Those currently in the process of being upgraded or paying their bond, you can continue as instructed in mail and old vendors can still verify with Sarge for the time being.

To be honest, I do not really care. I've incriminated myself as being a meth user; that's it. People routinely describe their drug taking activities on Drugs Forums, Bluelight, and other such websites without any sort of harassment. If the government wants to incarcerate me, I'm fine with it.
