Was this by any chance announced to the vendors last night in the private forums? I had a vendor last night cancel a fairly large order, refund all my btc, and advise me to move them off the road due to " bugs within the system". Im glad i did now that I'm reading this...

I think this means a massive overhaul in functionality is upon is.  I take it as a great sign!

It may be worrying for you and I sympathize but understand that is exactly what it says it is. A temporary state whilst some bugs are fixed. The function will be turned back on just as soon as the associated bugs are corrected and this is in everyone's interest.

I am 100% confident that it will be turned back on today or tomorrow at the latest.

There are at least two other Darknet drug marketplaces up and running as we speak.  If you don't like DPR's attitude, head on over to Sheep or BMR.   

Speaking as a vendor, the inability to withdraw BTC was a major problem for me.  It looks like DPR & Co. have offered a temporary solution while they continue to address the underlying issue, so I can't really complain.  I would definitely like to see feedback enabled and am looking forward to subcategories and a few other features.

But you know what?  Anybody who is part of the SR2 admin  team is facing decades in prison if they get caught.  And so if they choose to focus on security and OPSEC first I can't say I blame them.

Apologies for the lack of updates today, we have left the withdrawal system open today and kept purchases disabled as I understand keeping the money flow open for vendors to withdraw from is of a higher priority for vendors and will allow you to hedge it elsewhere in the event there are fluctuations. I will post back shortly.

Please also update the OP of this thread to clarify that the withdrawls are working. Had to search quite a bit to find your recent post saying so. Fixed in the title was a good hint, but not really clear due to only having conflicting statements in the edited OP's Text.

Sucks that people immediately think the worse with any minor hick up or statement. REMEMBER  SR wasn't here 4 years ago and in the early stages it was not all smooth sailing.

From what I have seen on the forums, people on sheep are complaining because the customer support is nearly non-existent. People are complaining on the forums about scammers for a like weeks and they still don't get banned. Moreover, the mod's presence on the forums is nearly non-existent.

Here at least, the mods pay attention to our concerns and tell us what they are up to.

It's a good sign, caprisun. Things are moving forward, and now that withdrawals are working again - obviously a higher priority feature than cancellations, as vendors need to be able to withdraw to keep the market going - I am sure cancellations are getting closer. Please be patient, complaining about this in multiple threads is not going to make things go faster.
