about 1/5 actions I take result in a server load error. Mixed with the "the last post from your IP was 0 seconds ago" problem and random redirects to the index page or other pages I didn't try to go to, it is very hard to use this forum.

Try upgrading to the Torbrowser 3.0 beta. It works very well. You can find it on the torproject.org blog section.

Everybody else: It has absolutely nothing to do with Tor on my end or anything else on my end, server load error messages are due to ..... server load. Meaning that the server is not adequate to deal with the number of users, or something is configured such that the server is not utilizing all of the resources it has available.

The issue hits at how we allocate resources which prevents individual users slowing everyone else down should they try to DOS the forum by using database heavy functions repeatedly. In this case your average load was far higher than most users for an unknown reason so I adjusted the limits displayed on your account.

This has only happened a handful of times in my many posts. When it does, I just hit back and make sure to copy the post content then go back in and submit it.

I have never had any problems at all with SR2 forum. Yeah I get the occasionally posted from this IP already but that is a Tor exit node thing and its not a big deal.

That reminds me... do you remember the time that the original DPR made some clueless idiot a moderator? This technology-challenged cretin thought it would be a good idea to ban spammers by blocking their IP address. What the poor fool didn't realize was that everyone on the Forum has the same IP address: the loopback address!  As a result, everyone was locked out for some hours, until someone could go in and repair the damage.

Security is a bit like religion... some things have to be taken on faith.

Even my cat is securely wrapped, they can leak your location if you are not careful, they are not choosy about where they go so always wrap your cap in tin foil.

Ahh is that what happened, I remember when that happened as it goes but I didn't know that's what the issue was, who was the mod who did that?
