If we suffer from any major spam issues we will close registration again to give us some time on how to address such issues as they take up a disproportionate amount of staff time.

I would really like to see that not happen this time on the forums or even the marketplace, seeing all of the useless arguing and people just acting like children really bought the quality of this community down in my eyes. So my wish would be to see all of that effort that gets put into fighting amongst each other or trying to make other people look bad to making this community stronger and supporting projects that we would all benefit from.

I personally believe that registration needs to be closed again to keep the time wasters and FUD speakers at bay, as you can see with all of the threads and arguing popping up about SilkRoad being " doxed " or the server locations being found out. Just general idiots that only appeared in full once registration was opened.

I was just a regular Joe customer on the previous version of SR, working my way to being able to post on the forums and be a part of the community, esp with a view to reviews of Vendors who deserve praise for the quality of their wares, speed of delivery, stealth and general service etc. Im so glad things are on their way to being back up and running. Huge respect and best wishes to all involved in making it happen. I certainly hope my old favorites come back.

Im assuming that functionality and features like on the old site will be returning. Like vendor reviews, feedback etc. I for one thought that for the most part it worked well. Am just gutted that my 300+ trades purchase history is gone lol.

Now all I need to do is get my old non techy hippy brain to figure out wtf im supposed to do with this PGP thing. I got on the SR fine with some help but this is a new challenge. For me anyways.

Hello SR2.0 community, its good to be back.  I hope everyone has taken at least a few steps to tighten their security protocols up a bit.  To be honest, I'm still a little skittish but my stash has dwindled and been ripped off at least once on the street since the good old Road went down. 

 I'm looking for some of my old favorite vendors from SR1.0, specifically Mahakala, Mercelketman, and if he ever turns back up, theILF (the ILF has been off the road for a long time, but he was an outstanding MDA only vendor).
 Turns out I just got an invite code only to find out I didn't need it!  I'm not sure if its a good thing to require an invite code or not, but I'm glad I'm back in.

It does not serve much of a purpose on these forums but there are users that are still requesting invitation codes because they are unaware registration has been opened. It might be a good idea to pin a thread in the old forums specifying that invitation codes are no longer necessary to register, as well as to announce the official marketplace link.

Perfect track record the entire time)  'vendors' their operating certificates'  - if you will, with out charge so we can post listings immediately? We believe it is only fair and right! And is their anyway to claim the bitcoins we lost with when SR failed?
