What's happening with Vendor Verification?

I've seen other potential old SR vendors asking this question. Has it been stopped? I've posted in the original thread on this site but cannot link to a post on the old forums as I deleted my account immediately after I saw the seized banner. I only ever posted in the vendor rountable maybe 2 or 3 times. If anyone needs to verify I am who I say I am, all they have to do is send me an encrypted message using my public key that was stored on the SR site and included in StExos download/backup? Can someone comment on what's happening with this verification process? Thx S

There is a temporary hiatus on the vendor verification process. It will return shortly. We cannot discuss the matter any further right now.

My post on that thread was edited but read something like "hope he's legit or who knows how many others slipped through" . Which I think is a legitimate question. Hopefully they are now making double sure no skammers slipped through.

It's not my intention to cause trouble by repeating something the admits thought needed to be deleted as when I posted Sarge was still investigating the guy, however to date AFAIK he still is unable to reply to PGP messages.

Please let us know if this is now resolved.

I don't like the sound of this. This means that the vendors that are already verified may not be who they say they are. Oh dear.

exactly my point, SR is built on trust and I believe the only way forward is total transparency when it comes to issues like this.
