Barack Obama. I am not ignoring your messages, I have responded to each of them and there is nothing new in my inbox. Attempting to only give half the story is not going to help your case, especially pasting private messages out here in the open. I have been as fair as I can regarding the situation, but ultimately a protocol is in place to prevent people getting free accounts despite only just joining Silk Road since the free accounts are for established vendors who have proven they are not scammers. Again, the bond is also refundable so in the long term, if you can prove you are legitimate, this shouldn't be a concern.

Topic locked. Mail me if you have further queries.

Somewhere between days and weeks. When we have a launch date, we will add a countdown timer to the big launch.

The ability to delete your posts should have been available from the start. If it is still not, let me know as that would be a bug.

The email requirement has now been removed.

I wholeheartedly agree with the above post and OP has hit the nail on the head. I am DPR, but I am not DPR at the same time, DPR is merely a title passed from one to the next. This forum and market is usable, but do not trust me or the servers, if you get javascript messages then turn off your javascript right away, do it now whilst you read this message actually. If you use PGP and do not give out your personal details, you can use a market even if it was compromised by law enforcement. There are many wise people here warning you to be careful, and I agree with all of them.

Be safe all.

Some of you have now been granted vendor privileges. For those that haven't, re-post and ensure you have a PGP signed message and link back to somewhere on the old forum where your account posted that same public PGP key to prove ownership of the account & PGP key.

Ok thanks, though I am not sure who 'staff' are to be honest. Is there a list?

I am feeling way stupid right now, what an absolutely fucking blinding start I'm having here...

Libertas, Cirrus and Sarge are all global moderators. Dread Pirate Roberts and Inigo are administrators.

Message one of the staff with a PGP signed message of the public key which is on the profile and they will reset the password. Make sure you date the message and state the account name you're posting from so we can be certain who the account belongs to.

Could you hide the field and have it automatically filled with a random value *@*.com

Or dont hide the field so people that want to use their own email can edit the randomly generated value if they want

EDIT: a potential temporary but sloppy solution

Possible but it does bring on other errors and isn't a good clean fix. We are looking into a possible solution right now though.

We are still figuring out how to remove the email requirement, unfortunately the forum software has deeply embedded it into the code and if we remove it, it breaks a whole series of features so we are thinking of a way to handle it.

Just don't yell "fire" in a movie theater...

Or on a plane...

I have reinstated and added several more vendors above. If I have not added you at this point, it is because you have not given me any information to work from. Please include somewhere from the original forums where I can verify your PGP key such as the link to the original PGP key post from the vendor account.

I will fully reinstate your access to the roundtable.

I wanted to highlight that you said "reinstate". Are[n't] there vendors who have access to the roundtable now that didn't on the previous forums, though?

Some people have mailed me with circumstances which I have had verified before allowing them access. If there are any vendors there by mistake, I welcome any PM to point it out as I am always grateful for such things since staff have not yet been appointed.

I will clarify point 1 again, I probably should not have rushed that answer.

1. Your private messages are not being watched by LE, but you should be using PGP anyway.
