Silk Road Discussion / Re: Is there still a SILC service?

Not right now, but a SilkRoad IRC server is definitely on the drawing board.
This section allows you to view all posts made by this member. Note that you can only see posts made in areas you currently have access to.
It's come to my attention that an article I published earlier today might
have offended some of the Silk Road community, not least those involved in
the launch of the Silk Road 2.0.
The piece was in no way meant to be malicious or derogatory to SR 2.0's
userbase, or otherwise slighting toward the decision of SR 2.0's moderators
to delay the launch of that site so as to be sure its security is airtight.
If anything, we're of the opinion the article comes off as a brief defense
of that choice.
That said, I understand there's particular issue around the word
"fiending". The idea there was to show how the community, in the wake of
the SR 1.0, are eagerly awaiting a new, reliable alternative--or in my
words, "for a return to something like normalcy." It was perhaps a poor
choice of wording in the end, and for that I apologize for any harm done.
We've gone ahead and removed that word from the piece.
Once again, my apologies to anyone who might have been offended by the
article.
Respectfully,
Brian A. Anderson

what the hell is going on? ..i demand answers goddammit
so is an invite needed to sign up to the main site when it goes live later or what?
i'm guessing its just the forum to prevent spam, but figured i should check now before its too late.
If there are security concerns they should be fixed before the site launches, even if it takes another week or two weeks. I am sure you are all working very hard to get everything ready for us as soon as possible, and I cannot wait to see the fruits of your labors.
As said before, do what you need to do. This gives me a chance to go and celebrae Guy Fawkes night and see some pretty fireworks
Whats a few more hours after all?
