Not sure if I hit the wrong button or not, but the screen shrunk , my vendor home page shrunk , the set up changed ( i.e. amount of transactions , rating, and how many fans) or is this the new home page, but really I was looking for my fan count. I dont see it anymore

I see that, but where does it show our fan count at ? or does it anymore ?

It appears to be gone for now. Maybe they will bring it back and it was an oversight, it also appears the rating system has changed as well.

Can someone clarify on how the rating % is calculated now if it has changed. Im guessing it is just a percentage out of the number of transactions and how many stars were given...

I can't guarantee it, but it seems as if it only includes feedback from the past year now.

the only visible changes at the moment are that the fan count is gone and the vendor rank is calculated differently. the fan count was too revealing of a vendor's size, so we took it out, but the vendors themselves can still see it.

Where exactly can the vendor see their fan count? I can't seem to locate it.

Why was the fan count "Too Revealing"........to me it shows the strength of the vendor. :)

It makes sense that a vendor with a very high fan count would be a higher value target to go after. That part makes sense, I still don't see where vendors themselves can still see it...

I always thought as a buyer the fan count was the most honest representation of a vendor and the most useful tool in determining their strength. It's the one thing that can't be faked.
You see this all time, vendors bragging that they are the #1 seller of X product, and if they have an old vendor account it could appear that way, but the fan count always snuffs them out.
From an LE perspective, they can just view the number of orders and feedback to get a size of a vendor, so it's not like hiding the fan count makes it impossible for LE to determine the size of a vendors operation.
Please put this back, it's a useful tool to help buyers gauge the longevity and trustworthiness of a vendor and hiding it does little to protect vendors from prosecution.

how is it the only one that can't be faked? It seems to me that a crooked vendor could just make a bunch of buyer accounts and become fans of themselves.
