OH and typing a reply on forums can be a bitch when it says you're IP has sent a message 0 secs ago or something... why am I so fucking tensed up right now?

Down for me too.
Patience is a virtue. We will all have the SR accessible to us very soon so no point in blowing it all up unless there is a bigger problem that DPR needs time address, in which case he will probably post something on the fourms.
Keep calm and carry on.

Hell ya! Sounds like time to buy.
Anyone who hasn't learned to buy BTC when its low and buy DRUGS when it's high is simply losing at life. If I would have invested 500$ 2 years ago I would now have over 9,000$ in BTC.

I am having the same issue. Changing identities does not seem to help. I sent messages to Libertas and DPR just in case they didn't realize. Hopefully it will be up again very soon. :)

If you are unable to access Silk Road right now, you are an isolated case. Most everyone is accessing just fine. The first thing you need to do if you are having problems is restart your browser. When you say it is down, what exactly happens when you try to go to the main URL? (http://silkroadvb5piz3r.onion)

CaptainDavs is right on this one. The BTC is way underpriced right now and I'd personally grab up as much BTC as I can at this price.
If it takes a dive to $70, I'd even get a second mortgage to buy it all up. My prediction for the next 6 months is BTC @ $500 at least.
