Title: withdrawal error
Post by: rise_against on January 16, 2012, 02:39 pm
i tried to withdrawal BTC from my accout the other day, and it gave me an error message i've never seen before. It said "Error, Try again in a minute or two." but the thing is, the bitcoins i tried to withdrawal were subtracted from my account, but never arrived to my client's wallet.

PM Customer Support using the link at the bottom of the page on the main site, and include the details including the time of the transaction from your accounts page, and the address you withdrew to.

Hey this same exact thing has just happened to me yesterday and I have been messaging support but they are not being helpful at all. After my first large withdrawal I tried a second one with a small amount of bitcoins to see if it would happen again and it happened again. it gave me the same message "error, try again in a minute or two" but it still took the coins out of my account. Please, I am freaking out right now so anything you can tell me about what happened would be great. thanks

sorry for the trouble.  I'm looking into it and support will get to your messages as soon as they can.

Thanks for the quick response. I am freaking out, but I can be a lot more patient now that I know you guys are on top of this. Let me know if there is anything else I can do to help solve this problem. If this is widespread I can see how a lot of vendors would be nervous right now.

Thanks for the response DRP. Myself and many others are having a similar problem, should I just hold tight and wait for the cavalry to figure this out or do I need make a support request?

I messaged support and got a generic one-liner and I have about $2k worth of btc in limbo. I'm pretty sure they're putting their effort into fixing it and it makes no difference if you message them or not.

I just had this same withdrawal error.  I'll continue to monitor this thread for updates.

Thanks.

I've just had the same thing happen to me tonight. There are a lot of tech problems where a generic "we're aware of the problem and eventually will get it fixed" response is OK, but this is a core issue that really has to get solved ASAP.

new withdrawals should be processed quickly as usual.  withdrawals that didn't get processed over the past couple of days might take another day at most, not entirely sure until I am done investigating.  I'll post a more accurate eta when I can.

I just made a successful withdrawal.  System is nominal.

Still have a bunch of payments that didn't arrive and I'm not sure if I shold resend... any ETA?  Thanks...

If you have the option to "resend" - then I'm afraid I don't understand your error?

I'm one who had a bunch of coins go missing last night, due to a faulty withdrawal. As suggested, I sent a report to SR, but as of this morning, it has yet to be read, much less responded to. Hoping to hear something today.

I had some coin(s) go missing as well, they are working on it.  I have spoken to vendor support over the past couple days and word is that dpr is going to take care of this himself.  I am sure your message is still waiting in the list of many.  I wouldn't worry, I have been here for quite some time, SR isn't in the habit of fucking people over.

We are in exactly the same boat buddy.  I am very confident that SR staff can sort this issue though, no problem.

Let's wait for an update for now.

Ok, I messaged from my account and haven't received a reply yet. My coins have been limbo for about 36 house now. I have some bills I was hoping to get paid this week. Any word on when this might be resolved?

I'm one of those who tried to withdraw yesterday and temporarily had my coins "disappear." It took 24 hours or so from the time I messaged SR support until anyone even read my message, but once they read it and learned of my problem, it took only a couple of hours before the funds were restored to my account and the problem was entirely solved.

So, in response to the "Has ANYONE received their coins?" question -- Yes, some of us have received a full credit and are back where we started from.

Hello ,

Well i had my BTC sent back to me after a few days along with a message saying sorry  so i thought OK it all working again , but no still not working and in the same position i was in this morning lost BTC so frustrating for any small business starting our cash flow is important. if we cannot withdraw the money for our products then we might as well give them away for free. Its the vendors who make SR a good place to do business , just wish they told the vendors and buyers before oh well such is the nature of this business.

still no sign of the BTC

Kind regards
