Now the first thing i should say is im pretty new to this site etc so i might have got it wrong but i dont think so ???
I've just logged on to leave some feedback for a couple of orders that arrived this morning (both 5 outa 5's so not all bad) and after clicking finalised looked at my account and it's saying 0.00 ?
I had about 9bc's in and have placed a few orders untill there was just 1.1 BC's left,not a vast ammount but it's just what i needed to put towards my next order and now it's not there.Im right in thinking that your BC's get withdrawn as soon as you make your order and NOT when you hit finalise aren't i? I don't recall looking to see if they were there just before i hit finalise on two orders just now so don't know if they've been withdrawn before or after.
I've looked on my accounts and all the correct deposits and orders are there with BC's taken out for orders etc then the final transaction was at 7.52am UTC this morning i think but i wasn't even online let alone ordered anything,there's an address for where it's gone?? What do i do now,can i get them back? Or i have i made a mistake and it's a correct withdrwal? Like i said im new to all this :-\
Just glad i didn't have all my BC's lying around,pretty pissed off man.
Any help greatfully apreciated thanks-I should add i have a slightly different username on SR,il post it if anyone needs to check

I'm terribly sorry about this. If you message us on the main site, we can look into it for you. Yet another reminder:
Do not use the same password you use on mtgox. Some users using the same password they use on mtgox have reported having their accounts emptied even though they changed their passwords AFTER mtgox was compromised.

Cheers man,but in the end i don't it was any fault of SR,i had a lot of trouble getting to the site last night so like an idiot i ended up using a link on the Hidden Wiki,a big NO NO i have since read?
All my transactions appear correct except one at 7.58 am UTC,a withdrawl from 19pVCs1zB8CZYUfY7uDqLbgk5JVmoT6ww2
And that sure aint SR is it?
So for 1.1 Bitcoin i live and learn,could of been a lot worse,i have changed my passwords etc but still a little iffy about depositing anymore BC's for an order just yet.
As for contacting SR,i haven't had a chance to learn how to use PGP yet (now it's a priority) so can't send you a message without it can i?

WTF??? I sincerely hope that isn't true. I didn't have any BTC in my Mt. Gox acct when the hacking happened. And I use site specific pw's.
But if this is really happening then it's bad for the whole BTC community.

Yea I think the same thing happened to me and I havent used mtgox.I only had 3 or 4 coins left so it wasnt a big deal. It was just some random withdrawl i had after my first purchase. Is the only possible explanation a hack or something relative to that?

Hidden Wiki to SilkRoad is a username/password harvester....use your own bookmarks to get to SR and SRF.
Never connect from Hidden WIki, the URLs are not the same is the first clue.

Same thing happened to me, super shitty, good thing It wasn't near that amount. :-\ I didn't link through through H-Wiki.

Has anyone randomly received bitcoins unwilling given to by other users?

My account was compromised last night. Made first deposit to make first transaction. I went to sleep after sending btc to my sr account because it was taking a while to get there. When I woke up this morning I had a check and they weren't there. Looked in transaction list and they had been withdrawn! Sucks so much! I had a weak as fuck pass but since it was such a fresh account I thought it would be ok to just leave it til after the transaction. Sucks so much man! amount lost was 39 btc and to make it worse I got them before last weeks crash! I'm wondering if this has happened to anyone else?? It might have had something to do with sr being down for a few people yesterday! Would advise anyone to change their pass just to be safe! Even if you're not at risk it never hurts to change your password!!

this happened to me not too long ago
sold an SSD, checked later, got the money
checked my account a bit later and all my bitcoins were gone (3.76)
sucks because that was everything i had and i had to start from scratch
i changed my password but i'm still paranoid about keeping any bitcoins in SR
