Post by: LSDANK on June 19, 2011, 07:49 pm
Okay so the BTC/LISTING PRICE IS ALL JACKED UP RIGHT NOW ANYBODY KNOW WHY?

Like say you put 8btc it will say like 30usd on your listing or just be all messed up like that the prices aren't correct for shit.    I think its because of MTGOX has crashed i heard. Anybody have any info on this ??

I am wondering about that also, suddenly my pills are listed for 3.81. This is waaaaay more than I want. I will adjust my listing now, hope this does not fuck up this messup further.

[EDIT] Nevermind - seems fixed!

we use a 24hr moving average of the exchange rate to calculate the price, not the last trade.  That way crazy market moves like the one we saw today won't make your prices fluctuate wildly.  prices don't deviate from the 24hr moving average for very long, so it is self-correcting.
