Title: Can't reply in threads

I've been trying to reply to threads, particularly the SR pw dump thread, but every thread seems affected.  I log in, then go to the thread, and the thread page looks like I've be logged out.  If I go back to the topics page, then I'm logged back in.  I've also tried logging in from the thread page, but it doesn't work.

Ideas?

Assuming you're using the firefox Tor bundle, if it looks like you're logged out when you should be logged in, click the refresh button while holding the shift key.

Retarded I know. SMF doesn't seem compatible with tor because of caching problems, it seems.

Same here, can't post in some threads/sections because it logs me out as soon as I enter them.

is this still happening?  we made some adjustments and can't reproduce the error anymore.

Well my posts are showing up hours late, but at least they're showing up now.

I'm not being logged out anymore, but I am having errors when editing my profile, and sending PM's. I'll report back after I try and post again.

Edit: Can't reply, posts just don't show up and I get an error saying I already posted this message.

Still can't reply in rumor mill, it goes through fine but my posts just don't show up.

Are you guys having any luck with the shift-refresh thing? It should work for seeing new posts as well as log in/log out

I couldn't reply in rumor mill at first but I found a kind of fix:

Login on the board index at the top of the page. The page will refresh, it'll look like you're still not logged in, but it doesn't matter. Now, hit the search button at the top of the page and do a research of the thread you want to reply in. Go in that thread and now you'll see the reply button.

Not sure it'll work for you folks but it did the trick for me.

It helps, but still a pain.
Logging on is pretty hard, I usually have to try like 3 or 4 times so a pointer about that would be nice. I am sure we don't encourage people having multiple accounts but the one time when it is my turn to answer for GreenCo I was completely unable to log in under that name.

I just finally registered on the new forums and noticed that my replies weren't showing up either.  At least now I know I'm not the only one.

It takes me forever to log on...sometimes 3 or 4 times. My post show up hours later and its generally hard to have discussion b/c it seems to discourage a lot of users! Just sayin...

if you're using the firefox tor browser bundle on widows or linux, ctrl+f5 seems to refresh the forum to an up-to-date view.
