thanks for starting this thread. Security has always been the highest priority for this operation/experiment/enterprise, or whatever you want to call Silk Road. From early on, it has been a balancing act and learning experience to engage security experts to improve our systems and practices without opening those systems up to the threat of an attacker. There are pros and cons and risks to every security related decision. I see nothing wrong with you discussing these matters here, though. I'm sure some useful ideas will come of it.
