A point that I am failing to see here is that scammers are only effective if a buyer goes along with it. So long as buyers do not FE unless they have some special relationship with the vendor, scamming becomes the exception to the rule. A policy should not be put in place on the pretense that every new vendor is a potential scammer. There were exponentially more legit and trusted vendors on SR then there were scams. There is no reason to make it more difficult for new vendors to start up on the market so long as buyers take the proper precautions and the SR staff remain vigilant.
