Syn- I think Loki will turn out to simply be yet another Coachella shill. I wouldn't let him get to you. You guys are doing an excellent job. There will always be trolls out there looking to get a rise out of you.

DreadPirateMushroom, you took the words out of my mouth. Beautifully put my friend. Bravo! It's too bad that more people don't see the world in the same way we do.

I am going to contribute to this thread myself soon, but I'll have to think of another angle to add, now that I see my argument has been presented already. :P

Did you just make your comeback as mod Inigo?  :)

Been back for a bit already actually. Just been quiet. I have never been much of a forum person, so I'm trying to adjust and open up more. What good is having an awesome community if you don't interact with it?  :)

Good to see you back, Inigo. I encourage you to open up here. Your ideals and libertarian views combined with your influence in building this community from the start are very inspirational. I'm sure I don't have to tell you of all people, but make sure to stay safe. It would be a terrible loss to see you and Ross in the same situation. Welcome back, mate. ;)

Welcome, mate. As someone new to online vending, you will find this is a great place to ask the right questions to make you be successful at it while maintaining protection for yourself and your customers.

On a side note, these type of posts generally go to the "Rumor Mill" forum where vendor reviews and the like take place. The mods will probably move your thread on over there. ;)

I love this community. Dealing illicit narcotics, loaning currency to purchase said narcotics, and Chemmy is sitting back baking delicious cookies. +1 to you and your cookies.

Pluto Pete only sole legal items, he also has clear net sites for his business, the raid on him was probably motivated by rying to get his client list of possible vendors he was selling his feat seal foil used to prevent canine detects of what was inside.

oh right i didn't realize that. just assumed he sold something of the other. see what happens when you read fucking media sites.

Where else are you getting news?

not being funny or anything, and correct me if i'm wrong, but wasn't plutopete one of the Uk sellers that got arrested after ross?

i'm not suggesting anything against him or anything, just wouldn't have thought it would be a great idea for somebody to start back on here so soon after that happened. of course i don't know his exact situation either, so whatever i guess.

That's what I thought, but since I don't know the full outcome of his case, I don't understand how they got the warrant in the first place.

Legal / Re: Another BMR gun vendor busted!
« on: November 10, 2013, 12:17:05 am »

Not only that, he used Western Union!! WTF was this guy thinking?!!!

I'm guessing the feds were buying from him constantly since April... probably built a rapport with him, finally talked him into using WU.

But more importantly why keep this guy's vendor name secret when asked?  I'm guessing the Feds took over the vendors account.

This would be the main reason not to release the information. I'm glad the SR doesn't deal with guns. That's just allowing for the ATF to have jurisdiction. We don't need yet another three letter agency on our asses.

lol op is creepy as fuck

Mate, we are all a bit off. If you don't have anything to contribute besides that, why post it?

It would take a pretty clever primary school kid to navigate the Tor network, purchase BTC, understand the escrow process, and finalizing an order.

At some point, you would have to blame the parents.

And I suppose the little punks won't use PGP either.  I see a great South Park episode where Cartman and the boys do just that.

I would totally watch a South Park SR episode. That sounds brilliant.

I have a Beretta 92 that I keep at home in my bedside stand and a Kel-Tec PF9 as my EDC. This reminds me I need to go to the range.

I have secured my name on the market but will probably register a fresh name to buy.

I created a separate one after my initial registration on the unveiling on the 5th. It is also important that people use different PGP key pairs for each account. There is no point to having separate accounts if they share the same public key.

Of all things currently under development, this is probably near the bottom of the list of priorities. I agree it would be nice, but I would prefer DPR and team maintain focus on the market.

Silk Road Discussion / Re: Is the new road going to be decentralized?
« on: November 09, 2013, 10:54:20 pm »
The market will not be decentralized as the method and technology to do so has not yet been developed to my knowledge to the standard required to be safely utilized. We will however be using the proceeds of Silk Road to pursue such developments and fund other projects in the interests of freedom and liberty, some of those will be made public.
Some? You will not tell us what we are funding, even after the last DPR tried to kill off two people with profits from our purchases? I ask this with all due respect--it is just something I think should be addressed.

I'm sure there are some organizations especially charities that would not want it known that they received funding from an underground black market. It is to protect them. Not just to hide information from the userbase.

Yes. It is his choice to sell again as it's yours to buy from him. If he hasn't already, I'm sure he will address this matter for the sake of his business.

Complicated is good if you know what you are doing. Sounds like they have a pretty firm grasp on it.
