Silk Road Discussion / Vendor Verification for Round Table Access
« on: January 08, 2014, 07:44:47 pm »
I will be doing manual verifications for Vendor Roundtable access for those that have met the following requirements:

- Six weeks of vending (Your oldest feedback must be at least 42 days old)
- $1,500 in sales
- At least 30 successful transactions

There are no exceptions to these rules. If you believe you meet these requirements, please post here with a link to your market profile.

DO NOT POST HERE UNLESS YOU ARE A VENDOR REQUESTING ACCESS.
Bond repayments will be handled at a later time.

We are not able to complete transfers at this time...What is going on? We can enter the correct information but once we hit the withdraw button it takes us back to the original, make a withdraw page, without actually taking out the bitcoin. We are only trying to withdraw from our wallet to other SR wallets...Is anyone else experiencing this?

Thank you

TLK

Make sure you aren't getting a message stating "Insufficient funds". You likely just need a miniscule amount off the end. So instead of 1.123456, withdraw 1.123455.

He asked I remove his posts as he wanted a clean slate. I obliged, but rest assured he is not in any danger at all and the reasoning behind it is sound.

Silk Road Discussion / Re: Market - deleting PMs

That is correct.

I am trying to wrap my head around what is the best solution.

Policing is stupid. But how does the site put a vendor under review when they are showing major signs of scamming.... and can there ever be certain funded accounts that can insure buyers for later, after sr2 decides said vendor is in fact a scamming bitch, either paid for buy vendor over time/sales, maybe matched by sr as well. Maybe the percentage from the sales on that vendor. Someone said it yeah.

I guess really you can't match what scammers usually take. However you look at it.

It used to be where their PIN would be changed on the market until they claims could be verified. That way they couldn't run off with anyone's money. Then it is either given back to them or the transactions reversed.

1192
Just curious, how many reports does it take?  Are there instances where someone is not scamming and fake reports come in?

Yea when a use makes up a completely fake name and just starts bashing a vendor and no one else says a thing....those are fake and they happen.

What he is saying is they can have 2000 complaints they do not have the power to do a thing. Right now only Defcon does. And he is busy building a better Silk Road with lots of cool features.

I often don't agree with you on various topics, but today you are hitting the nail on the head mate.

Silk Road Discussion / Re: deposits! 600 lost already because of delay
« on: January 08, 2014, 01:21:28 am »
Make sure that you have clicked on "Check for new deposits", everyone.

1194
Are you going to reimburse us each time there are delays and the value increases?

1195
We've actually discussed doing that, but our main concern it that it would promote witch hunting and the constant replies of "Well if you know they are scamming, why don't you ban them?"

1196
Support can do absolutely nothing about it at the moment. Despite the number of times vendors such as this one and others are brought up, we have not been granted the required access to remedy it. Use caps lock all you want...

Silk Road Discussion / Re: Support ?!

Its because people believe that if they submit 20 tickets for their issue, it will be resolved quicker. Please guys. You are only hindering progress on the queue if I have to read the same thing from the same user over and over again.

Silk Road Discussion / Deposits and Withdraws Moving Slowly **UPDATE**

Many of you are noticing delayed transactions on the market. We are aware of the delays and are in the process of implementing further load balancing measures within the mixer. Despite popular opinion, hitting F5 in 10 second internals is not the answer to this problem and only makes things worse.

Most deposits/withdraws are taking several hours to complete, but will arrive where you sent them. Bare with us and be patient as we add a more permanent fix in place as I know it is frustrating. Thank you for your continued support.

Cheers

Update: The development team is continuing to look into the issue. There appears to be some level of extended delay between the market and the blockchain and the cause is still unclear. Coupled with the mixer, this obviously makes for the incredibly large amount of lag everyone is experiencing. It isn't as simple as turning the mixer off. We have not yet seen any transaction be dropped so everything IS processing, just slowly. Please continue to be patient

Customer Support / Re: DEPOSIT / WITHDRAWAL DELAYS *MEGA THREAD*

Things are backed up. The amount moving in/out of the market is quite large. Your coin will arrive where it needs to go. It just may take some extra time as we implement further load balancing within the mixer.

You are not the only person on a market with 100k users that has problems, mate. Support is getting them as fast as they can but without the support UI, our hands are tied. I have a long list of vendors including yourself that need an issue rectified.
