Silk Road Discussion / Re: MY THREAD WARNING AUSSIE SCAMS WAS DELETED?!
« on: January 25, 2014, 11:22:03 am »
Every mod/admin cares about your complaints, but for example I prefer devs like Defcon and Hux to be working on the backend to fix the issues as opposed to posting on the forums about them.

If you read Hux's post (http://silkroad5v7dywlc.onion/index.php?topic=19618.msg390275#msg390275), you will see that we have the support UI in place with a very large backlog  that several of us have been chiseling through while the sync is being put in place. I myself have gone through a couple thousand so far. You will certainly get support.

There is no ETA on any fix as we cannot predict how much further debugging will be required.

Your new account should be fine as this bug is effecting a very small amount of users relative to the entire userbase. Make sure to click on "Check for new deposits".

Also as a general recommendation, you should not rely on any online black market to provide the drugs you need to sustain an addiction that requires you to dose daily. You can buy in bulk to give yourself a few days worth, but when you order something online, it is never on-demand despite site functionality.

There is a fix in place for both this and the vendor bond cancellation issue being put through their paces in our test environment. Once we are %100 confident that they will function as designed without causing any other problems to spring up, they will be rolled out to production.

We have already seen some undesired results from these fixes which is requiring further debugging.

I moved it to Rumor Mill. Please before you guys think your topic has been deleted, look through your own post history first. We don't delete topics often. If we do anything with them, they are %90 of the time either moved or merged.

Silk Road Discussion / Re: Vendors who save information
« on: January 25, 2014, 09:55:37 am »
This is something that every vendor knows to be very much against the rules as it puts their customers in danger should they ever be caught. Anyone caught storing addresses does not need to be placed on a list. They will simply be banned.

Silk Road Discussion / Re: Vendor F/E Requirements.
« on: January 25, 2014, 09:24:01 am »
For now, with the automated vendor registration process in place, all new vendors are allowed to enforce their own FE policy. It is up to the buyer to determine if they want to do business with them or not.

If the buyer does decide to move forward with it, please do not leave feedback such as "FE for new vendor. Will update when package is received". It is not possible for users to edit feedback once it is placed. Wait to write it until the transaction is complete.

Please stop posting and quoting the wallet address. Thanks to all you who took the time to bring this our attention, but lets not give them the possibility of expanding their amazingly stupid scam onto the forums.

Thanks. Obviously don't respond to it and definitely don't give him any money. We will remove the account.

Was this sent on the market or forums?

He doesn't have access to it.

This is probably the third or fourth topic created about this and are creating more of FUD every time you do. I stated it one of the other threads.

This has been handled. No money was given to him. We just...talked.
