Maybe someone in the UK check the obituaries?

that would be a bit difficult as we don't know where he lived, his age or his name. unless it said captain whitebeard of silk road lol

Exactly. It is tough to see what happened through a veil of anonymity.

Silk Road Discussion / Re: Weekend Updates
« on: February 09, 2014, 07:43:32 am »
The update his not yet been released. Once it has, you will have three days to dispute the order.
I know, I meant if I will be able to keep the funds in escrow until we come to a resolution, or is there a limit to how long I can extend the auto-finalization?

You will have 72 hours to dispute the transaction before the order finalizes.

**CLEARNET http://houston.cbslocal.com/2014/02/06/mcgruff-the-crime-dog-actor-sentenced-to-16-years-for-pot-grenade-launcher/ **

I thought the irony was just brilliant and had to share.

Galveston, Texas (CBS HOUSTON) – Former McGruff the Crime Dog actor, John R. Morales, has been sentenced to 16 years in prison following his guilty plea three years after police seized 1,000 marijuana plants, 27 weapons – including a grenade launcher, and 9,000 rounds of ammunition from his home.

The man who played the famous “Take a bite out of crime” dog was arrested in 2011 after Galveston police and drug-sniffing dogs pulled over the McGruff actor for speeding, the Houston Chronicle reports. Authorities found diagrams of two indoor pot-growing operations sitting on the front seat, and multiple pot seeds stored in the trunk of his Infinity.

Police raided Morales’ home and found the multitude of marijuana plants, ammunition and weapons, which included a grenade launcher, according to court documents obtained by News Fix Now.

On Monday, the now 41-year-old former actor pleaded guilty and was sentenced to 16 years in prison.

Morales insisted that he was nonviolent, but U.S. District Judge Vanessa Gilmore stated that, “Everything I read about you makes you seem like a scary person.”

McGruff the Crime Dog is a cartoon bloodhound that was created by global advertising company Saatchi & Saatchi and the Ad Council in the early 1980s for the National Crime Prevention Council used by U.S. police in spreading crime awareness. The dog is often played by actors wearing the character’s rain-coat costume as McGruff visits schools, does commercials and engages children through educational videos.

That is certainly the best way to ask for assistance. Thanks mate.

786
Thank you Badoo1. I wont merge it, but I will move this to same board.

787
Yeah I will move that out of resolved. Obviously the fix we put in place didn't quite pan out, only made things a bit better.

Which is why I bumped the priority of the bug to P1 a few days back. It seems to be affecting more people.

With all due respect, do you intend for the community to reimburse us should the price increase since each of their respective deposits?

As I stated in another thread, it is being worked on and is a very tricky bug. Every time we think we have it mended in our test environment, it crops up again.

Yeah sorry mates. Still something being looked into. It's a very odd bug so every time we think we have the cause nailed down and push a fix to our test environment, it turns out to be something else entirely. It is definitely being worked on though.

I couldnt Agree more dude.  After SR1 got busted I worried I would never get good drugs again :(.  This site is amazing to have come so quick and be so efficient with minimal problems.  The thing is all these kids are pissed about getting scammed but its like its so easy to do 10 minutes of research on the forums to prevent getting scammed. Also a lot of the vendors I trusted from SR1 came here so I have complete faith in them.  I have a solid vendor for molly, acid, weed, ketamine, dabs, and even xanax and thats all I really buy.  If anyone needs to know who I got you no problem but stop acting like this site is the devil when its your own fault you get scammed in the first place.  DONT TRUST COIN VENDORS on the road as easy as localbitcoins is to use I dont see why people dont just use it even with a moneypak its basically the same as a vendor taking 15% i just dont get why people complain.

Thanks again mods and DPR even though your long lost

+1. Do you research mates. Don't FE unless you trust the vendor completely. You are your biggest enemy if you don't take the time to educate yourselves. If you cant be bothered to do that, maybe you shouldn't be buying drugs on the darknet.
