It is anything but a simple bug. It has to do with how BTC floating points are handled on the server. One affect of this has been people seeing NaN (Not a Number) and Inf (Infinity) balances.

That part has been mended as far as I know, but the negative balance one remains. I agree though. It should have been fixed by now.

You should have stopped using the account if it was affected by the negative balance bug, but from the screenshot you sent me, it looks like exactly that. Also it looks like you deposited into one address twice at the same time. There has been an issue going on where one deposit doesn't show or goes into negative.

So what you should take away from this is...Stop using that account. Even people with negative balances get repaid. Until a fix is implemented, make another buyer account.

DoctorClu, when my account was 'seized' it was not put into vaction mode...

Yours wasn't "seized" per se because you had come forward stating the account was yours and could prove it. The password was reset but for reasons still unknown to me, it was not given to you.

This just means once you obtain your account again, you will have A LOT of orders to fill as the phisher no longer has access.

The last time a member of the community did that, he ended up scamming a bunch of people due to the trust he gained (HonoluluExpress). The staff received a bit of a whiplash from that.
