Title: Bitcoin vendors review [updated:29June]
Post by: wakannabi on June 10, 2012, 03:50 pm
Guidelines:
1- I will add feedback posted on this thread or in any other thread If the seller asks me to do it. Bear in mind that a lot of positive feedback may not mean nothing. You should always check the users who made the same feedback and see if you already "know them", how many posts in the forum, how long they have been on SR, karma, etc..
2- If you are thinking about exchanging some coin with someone, search their name BEFORE you make the purchase. Analyze all posts if possible for your own security. Remember anyone can create accounts and try to spam the forum.
3- I will try not to include reviews from users with less than 10 posts. I've already added some but will remove them in the future.
4- Any seller that wants to be in the list just drop me a pm and the same if you want to be removed.
5- When you see "+++" it's because it is my personal opinion.
6- I edited the post and the Vendors are now in alphabetical order.
7- If you know of some possible scammer on the list please report.

They all suck, it's highway robbery.

maybe we could create a list of websites outside SR with good rates, security, etc ?

what do mods think of the idea? I could manage the thread according to the reviews on this thread so we (newbies) know where to go for bitcoins and which people to deal with.

no ones interested? where do you all get your bitcoins? If you could help me I would be eternally grateful. I'm stuck at this question and the only reason i proposed a sticky like this is because I figures a lot of noobs make this same f*** question.

The only methods available for me are western union, paypal, visa etc.. but I wanted to do it the safe anonymous way...

I looked into RapidExchange, and he looks good as well. How fast was the turnaround? Around how big was the M.P.? I couldn't find anything in the forums, that is why I went to bosshogg, after a few members that I trust used him.

I've used BTC Buddy in the past. The cost of turning cash into BTC is something I've just accepted. I have an order with BTC Buddy again right now. Last time it literally took less than an hour. Hopefully this transaction happens just as fast.

Hi,
I'm a newbie to the forum, already introduced myself. Been trough a lot of info on the past couple of days but there is one point I don't see clear right now.
I was searching the forum for bitcoin vendors reviews but I found a lot of threads without answer and I can't really understand which ones to trust.

What do you guys think about creating a sticky topic reviewing bitcoin vendors just like any other drug?

I entered in the rumor section and read the reviews and I got a lot of info on which vendors to use first for specific type of drugs. Wouldn't it be nice to feel the same about bitcoins?

There are so many methods involved that we could organize them by currency/country, method of payment, etc...
I'm sure there are lots of folks on this forum that would like to trade bitcoins for cash.

Let me know if this has been already discussed or if you think the idea is not worth it.
Sorry my English but it's not my mother tongue, hope i made myself clear.

Hope I can have some good times around SR!

Regards
wakannabi

Hi Wakannabi, welcome to SR!

I seem to remember that we do have Bitcoin Trader review thread somewhere but I suppose it can't hurt to have another!

I sell Bitcoins to people for cash in the mail if you love in the UK/Europe (Please see http://dkn255hz262ypmii.onion/index.php?topic=22148.0) for my review thread. If you live in the US I have heard nothing but good things about BlueSkyTraders who offer a very fast and reliable service.

V.

Fuck, fuck, fuck!!!!!
SouthernSupplier told me he had the coins to do $500 a couple hours ago... would do rate at 5.6 so 89 coins. I went to the store and put $500 on it at 1:50pm central time today... then sent to SS at 2pm today. Then guess what????
SS sent back after 30 minutes saying it has a $0 balance and did I send to other vendors. I called Moneypak and they said there was a balance but it was transferred out at 2:29pm today.
SS is continuing the, "maybe it was the gal at the store" and the "I've tried on 3 other ways and it's zero."
I am being scammed out of $500 by SS!!!

Anyone know of a way to find out where the moneypak was transferred to? I might fill out the form with moneypak to see. This sucks!!

Man that is really not good. Talk with SS maybe you can find a way of sorting it out.
Hope anyone can clear that question out for you.

Any more reviews or vendors to add to the list?

BTCpal added to the list from other topic. check it out (http://dkn255hz262ypmii.onion/index.php?topic=12568.0)

I just wanted to leave a post praising BTCpal, with BTC coins being hard to come by at the moment he just CAME THROUGH for me!!  Hooking me up with $11.35 BTC for $60.00 USD! So basically selling his BTC for market value, with a small %15 commission.  So stoked to finally be able to do a little shopping!!  ;D

BTC pal took the time to help me out when i was first trying to buy btc, he always responded to my messages quickly. looks like a legit guy

I've been getting coins from him since the begging and he is the best. Comm is great but last week he said he was gonna have coin to me in 2-3 hours but it was like the next day, and it was 21 percent fee as well. had a 100mp and got back 79.80 in coin. Since he didn't even tell me about the higher btc rate and didn't update He gave me 11 bucks in coin. Such a good businessman.

I think I'll be going to get-bitcoin.com now though. Seems faster and cheaper than what the btcvendors have now. 2 months ago you go coin in 8 hours or less FORSURE. Usually it was 4 hours haha. Now its chaos.

Oh well. Now i can stop being lazy and get them myself haha.

BTCPAl is the guy to go tho for btc. The wait is worth it(usually 24 hours or less).  Btcbuddy is making a killing and I'm not gonna let him rape my wallet.

Both are excellent in communication though and try there best to get you the coin, but sometimes they can't do everthing at once. Which is the reason going and buying them from gb or mtgox is the fastest and cheapest. Ill update though and see how my experience with getbitcoin is
Used BTCPal succesfully three times.  The last time he had my coins within 2 hours.

I have also used get-bitcoins.com using a cash deposit at boa.  No id required.  I actually had a mix up on the order (that was my fault) that Get-Bitcoins fixed.

Used BTCBuddy once succesfully
I've worked with BTCpal once and everything went great!  I'd work with him again anytime.  Unfortunately he currently has no listings up, but i'm not looking to place any orders at the moment anyway so it's no biggie
He did me and a friend of mine on here right...we started getting freaked out, because of some unreceived messages--he'd had some family problems--but he came back, fixed everything, and even thru in some extra btc for us, so I have to say, tho it was a bit nervewracking, that btc pal is alright in my book.

We got bit bad by a heroin scammer on here, but we don't need to start seeing ripoffs under every bush... btc Pal is honest, not a bad guy.

If this is organized right, which I think it's definitely on the right track, I can see this being a great way for people to figure out the safest way possible to get their Bitcoins. I'm all for it and thank you wakannabi for organizing it.

I'd just like to throw in that I completed a MP transaction for a small amount (less than $50) with "Chronic Crew". He is legit and it was instant, less than an hour after I sent.

He also answered my questions I had (hours before I even had the MP before deciding this dude sounds legit) in good time, and made up my mind to go get the MP to get some BTC for a small order I've been putting aside due to not being able to find someone who wouldn't charge 15% for a less than $100 mp.

He didn't charge any fees, just mtgox rate and I had exactly what I ordered soon after for every bit I paid for! Talk about some gooood shit! So I think he should be added to the list. The only thing is, he doesn't have listings for it so just PM him. He has a thread mentioned somewhere on here about his BTC transactions, which is how I found out and gave it a go.

Gonna do a larger order next time I'm able to because it don't get better than FAST SERVICE and GETTING YOUR MONEYS WORTH, EVERY BIT.

Again; good deal on BTC from Chronic Crew!

The other day I used BTCMaster to purchase some coins. Took less than an hour. He/she even "tipped" me a few!
I'd repeat without hesitation.

Hello
I´m searching for vendors offering Bitcoins for Ukash with a good rate and not for 6-7 euros for an coin.
Can someone tell me a good source to exchange Ukash to Bitcoins?

Update:
message sent to : #coinbox #Chronic Crew and BTCMaster so I can add them to the list.

#namedeclined is the new one to the list today.

I'm having problems because there is a 2000 character maximum for messages so how can I update the list and add more feedback?
Do I have to create a new topic and only post myself in every messages?

Thank you

Waka

Great idea for a thread, I love it. If people don't post soon I'll grab all the info on the vendors.

CoinBox sent me there info, not sure why, did you ask them to send it to me wakannabi?

I'm waiting for the reply from the vendors to update all of them and then search the forum for feedback.

I sent a message to Coinbox and he sent me his info. I did not ask him to send it to you and I don't know why he did. Maybe he thought the thread I told him I was creating was something official from the forum mods / admins and sent it directly to you.  I want to update his info but there is one small problem....

The message limit is 2000 characters per post so I cannot add anymore info. Should I just create a new thread for posting all the info without anyone posting there and this one stays just for users posting reviews?
I will then copy the reviews from this thread and post on the new one.

Please tell me what you think so I can continue to add new vendors.

I would structure it as one thread:
1st Post - Basic info on each vendor
2nd Post - 5 Review for each of the vendors you can fit
3rd post - 5 reviews for whatever vendors wouldn't fit.

But keep it just in one thread :)

that's a cool structure but I will have to do it in another thread, it's not possible to do it on this one right?

All vendors updated!

I removed the individuals reviews so from now on I will only add links to review threads.
If any vendor wishes to add review threads just PM me.
Individual feedback should be posted on this thread from now on.

hopefully will keep everything organized this way.

Just did my 2nd MP to BTC transaction with BTCmaster -- That guys is so legit. Great communication, speedy service and the BEST exchange rate on SR. I'm not sure I even want to tell anyone what he sells BTC's for so I can keep it to myself when I need it  ::)

Chronic Crew is legit. I've done two MP to BTC transfers with him totaling $775. Both times the coins were in my account within 30 minutes and traded at the current mtgoxlive rate. He is the definition of a great bitcoin trader and I will continue to use him in future endeavors.

Same thing happened to me as to Brave New World.  Please no one give any money to Xline.  I wish there was a way to spread the word further on this scammer because the listing is still there and I'm sure many others are falling for it.

Updated the individual feedback for each vendor. From now on, each person who posts on this thread, I will update with the number from the reply.  This way you can ask your costumers to leave feedback here and it will be updated in the first post.

Just wanted to make an announcement:

I have always been pleased to deal with European customers and accept Euros in exchange for Bitcoins. However the fact that the Euros had to be exchanged for GBP at an unreasonable exchange rate as laid down by the local bank before being processed meant my European clients weren't getting as good a rate as those in the UK.

As of today, I have put a new system in place and will be changing Euros at current exchange rates as set by the bank where I work (currently 1.201 EUR/GBP but feel free to message me for current rates).

This means that European customers will get the same value for money when using my service as British ones. Naturally if you require a specific quotation please message me for details.

All the best,

V.

BTC Buddy deserves extra praise for helping me out over the past few days, I've done so many Moneypacks I accidentally sent him the wrong info twice and he was really cool and professional about it and when i got him the correct info he had me taken care of. Stand up guy here and I strongly recommend him, (By the way if you fill out you info correctly he's really fast the only reason mine took a few hours longer than usual was my fucking bone had fault.) So thanks again BTC buddy your the man!

Has anyone interacted with PakuPaku in the last few days? His vendor account shows he hasn't been on for 5 days yet he has managed to cash my moneypak that i submitted Sunday night in which I have not been given coinsfor. Also his listings are down as of Tuesday evening.  I'm confused and now, quite worried.  Insights anyone?  Thanks

I placed a £150 order with btc4ukash on Thursday and since then I've had one email a day later asking me the amount to change (i assumed alll he needed to do was redeem the voucher to find out) and since that nothing.

Has anyone else had problems with this vendor?

Will update on future news....hopefully good!
