simple story- despite my better judgment I bought a half oz of shake from the well-known shithead milehighmedicine. I'd done business there before and accept that he's a slow vendor. This time, as with many other buyers, nothing arrived. Into resolution. After stupid, infantile rants about this "not being Walmart" and car trouble excuses, dcn is provided which shows nothing other than the fact that something was mailed several weeks after I placed my order and showed no progress from out of the state it was mailed in, nowhere near the destination address. Should be a cut and dry refund: here are my buyer's stats:
Total transactions: 66
Total spent: $5942.1
Refund rate: 1.04%
Auto-finalize rate: 0%
Member for: 10 months
Obviously I'm a straight shooter, but the vendor isn't- check his feedback. Despite all this, sr admin gives a 0% refund and releases the escrow to the vendor with no explanation. Cost me a hundred bucks. Great judgment, SR! Just thrown all your integrity down the shitter. Can't trust anyone, it seems- including the great and mighty SR. What a bunch of assholes.

Could it be that you never responded? Did they perhaps leave the DCN in resolution for multiple days with out you messaging? If so the admin will just accept the resolution of the last responding party. But the claim they support scamming seems silly, they banned him.

The resolution process has always been good to me, but I haven't bumped into a scammer until FE's.

digital is right- I didn't respond as I though it was obvious that is was unnecessary. The dcn led nowhere, I assumed that admin would check the dcn- perhaps I was wrong there. There is no more to the story- this shithead is banned but gets to keep all my btcs? Where is the logic in that? I'm as clean as a whistle and this fuck runs off with my money and SR's blessing. Good fucking move, SR.

You know, if you held your tongue and acted a little more pleasant they might decide re-examine your situation and help you. I don't see what you are hoping to accomplish by throwing a tantrum on the forums, over troubles you had dealing with a vendor who was a "well known shithead" at that.

all this paranoia of mods scamming people is ridiculous. they work hard for this community. im sick of hearing it. and the forum mods have regular buying accounts on the actual silk road website.. ???

instead of running to the forum to rage, you should have messaged sr and explained thier mistake that they did not check the dcn. Obviously you should have pointed out in resolution the dcn lead no where also. i would certainly message sr and maybe ask them to replace 50% for making the mistake. nicely explain you thought they would check the dcn and so you didnt need to say more and that you agree you should have said something looking back so would they cover 50% as you both made mistakes. you might get lucky. but posting on here will certainly do you no good.
