Title: More Haze strains from US cannabis vendors
Post by: space_case on February 26, 2012, 03:44 pm
I love SR as the quality of the cannabis I get reminds me of what I used to be able to obtain in Cali.  The weed vendors on the road have been great to me, and have a good selection of quality bud.  However, I myself am a Haze man. The US vendors seem to deal mostly with Kush, which is nice, while most of the haze strains are listed from Holland and Canada.  I love the variety on the road but I only need so many strains of Kush to chose from.

Am I the only one?  Are there any other buyers who want Haze strains?  Are there any domestic vendors that can supply them?

Yup. Though I never buy from this account obviously. I keep a close eye on all the postings in the cannabis section, and unfortunately the US just does not understand that hazes are amazing. For that matter they don't seem to get the whole "Clear headed, euphoric, motivated Sativa" thing.

I agree, I would absolutely love more domestic sativa's, from the perspective of someone who has dabbled with growing in the past I can say there are a couple logistical problems growing sativa's though, especially for pure landrace's (like Thai), here in the US, for indoor grower's pure sativa's are not practical as they can grow almost 2 stories tall and the flowering pattern is spread far apart vertically, indica's are built for indoor growing, they stay short, like to bush outwards and make close, tight buds, perfect for indoor and especially SCROG grows, outdoor growing runs into trouble with sativa's being so tall, not only are they easier to spot but the buds fruit at different rates depending on how far apart they are, harvesting can last several months, so the grower has to return multiple times to get his ripe buds, and puts his well being at risk

good trimming techniques can help the grower in getting optimal size and shape but between the difficulties of maintaining a completely pure sativa mixed with what digitalalch mentioned, the lack of a driving interest among common smokers, that is why we mostly see indica's or at best a slightly sativa dominant mix around the US

I honestly prefer sativas over indica.  I really become a non-functioning person when smoking high quality indica strains. Its awesome when you don't get that overpowering stoned feeling but instead a clear headed, euphoric, giggly high!

PLEASE MORE SATIVA TO THE STATES

1 week, after harvest,lol...Takes 2 or more weeks to dry bud depending on size of the buds..Also gotta let it cure, for a month atleast,2-3 would be perfection..

I have some Blueberry x Haze  just down and cured. Only limited supply available. I only have 1OZ listing up now, I will have more soon, I also still have to take a picture, but I am not too worried about selling it to fast, because I know it is THE SHIT! So whatever. take it or leave it, but I can say without a doubt it will be better than any Sativa you might have!(other than diesel, the real stuff which takes approx 16weeks to finish-too long)
