It seems like only sellers on Silk Road are given a user page. Is this a bug or a new feature? (e.g. http://silkroadvb5piz3r.onion/index.php/silkroad/user/172062 vs http://silkroadvb5piz3r.onion/index.php/silkroad/user/172063)

Regular users never had a profile page, but you used to be able to pm them if you visited their url. Sr seems to have changed this to a page saying "this user has no user page" which makes it a lot harder to spam users.
All users had a profile page that listed username, how long they had been a member for, when they were last active etc. I think most sellers on Silk Road like the ability to check if one of their buyers have been active recently (in case they are waiting for payment or reply or something).

You are right, I can not see anything anymore on buyers (registration day and last activity) just get a message: "this user has no user page"
Where can we see that data now?
-
Must be a bug, I can click my username and a page comes up saying "Send a message to" with a form to fill in.

you should try to paste a link, like this:
http://silkroadvb5piz3r.onion/index.php/silkroad/user/xxxxx <- your user number
I do not think its bug, you got a sr message if that user is not a vendor you can not see his profile.

You're right, used that format and there's no page.

User with ID 173224 (http://silkroadvb5piz3r.onion/index.php/silkroad/user/173224) has a profile page, but looks like a normal buyer. Must be a glitch in the matrix. Would love to see a comment from SR admins here.

^ ^ ^ That's a vendors account, new, with no listings yet, not a normal buyers account.

Could be, yes. All buyer profiles used to look exactly like that.

Thats a load of crap buyers had profile pages up until a few hours ago were any user you could see when last login was and so forth they just could not edit there profile

What is a load of crap? The fact that buyers no longer have profile pages, or that they didn't have them anymore as of yesterday?
-
meh w.e the change is stupid it's not a bug in the matrix it's sr fucking things up more so for vendors
it really does not stop or prevent a bug other then that injection point i was mentioning prior in the user profiles that had yet to be created
no it's a load of crap because they did have profiles

And it makes it harder to enumerate user profiles on Silk Road (or to learn how many users have signed up for the site), which is what your script is doing.

lol naw not at all :) ;)
-
it is doing a bit of catch up though while i shut it down and fixed somestuff it will be caught up later tonight
-
Now this is interesting; Seems like SR has reverted back to "give all users profile pages", but for some reason there's no difference between a buyer and a seller.

Yeah me and the captain had a bit of a chat about it and he removed it basically more or less for security for the paranoid due to that it says a "login date" but after i explain how it effects not only myself in the whole bot thing but also other vendors and such and how so he
anyways i hope the capt doesn't mind but this is a quote from a private convo
he did it because
"just being able to see when they are online. more to satisfy paranoia than block a real attack. I'll open it back up."
anyways im just glad it's back it certainly helps :)
