all listing before the 1 gram listing were in post commission pricing, the 1 gram listing is in pre commission pricing. I also don't want to sell grams so it's encourage people not to buy the 1 gram. Plus people keep asking for free samples, so I tell them to buy the gram if they want a sample.

I do grow it myself 8) It's the only way I can ensure the quality of the product I sell. I've been growing for more than 5 years now and only use natural/organic techniques.

When shipping QPs. Will you try to ensure that the buds are not flattened or compressed during vacuum sealing and shipping? I would love to order a QP from you, but only if i know the buds will arrive in their natural state not looking flat or damaged at all...

For QPs I would use a larger USPS Priority box to ship it (3sizes available) to make sure my product retains as much visual appeal as possible. That also means a QP would be the most shipped in 1 package so If someone wanted a HP it would come in 2 shipments.

No doubt, I am trying to be patient but after nearly a day after sending the PM was just wondering why he never responded to it since he posted multiple times in this thread after I sent the PM to him. Only reason I may appear to be inpatient is because a vendor not responding to PMs, especially a new one, is a big red flag.
What happened was norcal simply made a mistake thinking he replied, as another user asked him a very similar question as I did. He answered my question a few minutes after I asked in this thread if he had seen my PM.

all current orders will ship out tomorrow(Monday), and I got a lot of feedback about QP's @ $800, so QP price will be good till the end of February. Prices on smaller amounts will go up after the my 10th order.

Update : The nugs are very well manicured. The taste is very potent indica. The smell is amazing. Shipping was great. I personally don't care how it gets to my drop location. It made it safely all I care about. The packaging was great.

I am glad you came to us on SR NorCal ! I have a friend of mine who frequently indulges in concentrates and oils. NorCal teased me with that great oil, and now I want it :).

I don't post on the forums much but I have purchased from many vendors. I don't think I have have been as pleased with a purchase ever. Shipping was excellent, item was shipped from West Coast on a Tuesday made it to Midwest US on Friday which is a day or two faster than I usually get products from West Coast. Packaging was superb item sealed with no smell and packaged discreetly so if a box opened nothing green would be seen. Packaging did not damage the buds still intact. As for the bud itself. Amazing. Expertly trimmed my scale said 30g when I weighed it and there was a sample of some delicious honey oil inside. The Kush is as described AAA with a fantastic Kush taste and nugs that are so beautiful like little Master Kush boulders.
I am glad to see SR expand with great vendors like norcal420hookup. They deserve and will have my continued support!
Just wanted to drop by and pass on the good word on this fantastic new vendor. Their experience shows and they can count on more orders from me when my supply runs low.

norcal- in my dealings with him toker420 has been straight as a die, I recently gave him a 20 BTC loan which he could easily have disappeared with. He repaid swiftly and with good communication throughout. I don't get bad vibes from him at all- it's pretty easy to ruin someones rep here by whispering scammer. I rarely post on the forums but I had to come on here and give a review of NorCal420's product. I've used marijuana for 19 years now and for the most part daily. First off I can tell you the packaging was very inconspicuous and the shipping speed was 4 working days from coast to coast which i think is very good. NorCal also sent me a message telling me when the package would be sent which was a very nice gesture. As for the product it is what I would consider true medicine. The buds are very dense and are very well manicured. I'm not good at describing smells and tastes but it really has a wonderful smell and if I had to use one word to describe the taste it would be exquisite. It's not harsh at all so it's also very easy on the lungs and throat.
As for the high it came on strong and quick with just a hint of anxiety but was shortly followed by a very relaxing body high with absolutely no anxiety. I have quite a bit nervousness which creates muscle tension and this marijuana really eased that for me. Although I haven't gone to sleep yet because it's a little early I can tell I'll get a restful nights sleep which is another problem of mine. It also helped cure some nausea I've been experiencing lately. Also, I received a sample of his hash oil for which i am extremely grateful. All I can say is thank you so much NorCal420 for the perfect transaction, the extras, and providing medicinal quality marijuana at a great price.

I implore you to consider adding Jack Herer to the menu as your sativa. All of the good Jack on SR comes from Canada, which means a few days extra wait time and a bit more hassle (even though the Canadian vendors carrying JH are among the best on SR) for those of us in the U.S.
I am sure a stateside supplier of Jack Herer would do phenomenally, and I would personally be ecstatic over the matter as long as the quality was comparable to say, someone like Anarcho's product.
Coming from the US, you'd probably have one of the most popular cannabis listings on the Silk Road in no time.

Norcal is so pro. I received my 2 oz order today. You really can not beat the price for this quality product. It is truly some medicine. It is a strong indica that is perfect for anxiety, tension, pain relief, and sleeplessness. The buds are perfectly manicured, dense, and they arrived looking just the way it's probably sitting at his/her house. No smushed buds or anything like that. I also received almost a whole gram of PERFECT bubble hash that goes FOREVER in my Volcano. If you can vape it, (hash especially) it definitely is the way to consume it. The taste is great and not one of those that kinda goes away after a joint or two. (Idk maybe that's only me ha) The shipping was increbile, and Norcal kept me updated throughout the entirety of the shipment (which he really did not have to do). I live in an apartmet complex where people tend to have very sticky fingers, and it's important for me to know what day to be home to accpet it. Norcal accommodated every bit of the way which is a HUGE help. The whole experience was one that a lot of vendors on SR could learn from, and Norcal is one of the newest vendors here which means I only see this service getting better. Well, I was scammed in my first transaction, or so it seems, but I have the utmost confidence in Norcal and his business practices. Just want to say I'm grateful for the ethical sellers who are loyal to their customers. Now I can't wait to try some of this master. It's been a while since I've had an indica that's put me on my ass.

(Look at my post count lol) However, I felt like I owed it to Norcal to post something kind here. The MK will not let you down. It is killer. I'd get as much as you can before the prices go up lol. I'm wishing I would have gotten one of those $800 qp's haha. Like I said, you really have nothing to worry about. Packaging is pro and stealth. My box was a little crushed, (with no doubt due to USPS's sorting "practices" lol) and you could not notice a smell at all and there is nothing green to see. Hopefully Norcal will restore your faith in SR. It truly is a great community given the correct interactions and avoiding lame people and scammers at all cost which isn't that hard to do once you get the hang of it. Hang in there.

About Finalizing Early for large amounts:
I don't mind the bigger orders but they deplete my stock to fast, so to stay always stocked and ready, I have to keep the btc/cash flowing. If I didn't do it this way I would have to take week or so long breaks to let the escrow clear up then turn that btc into cash to re-stock. 8)

Received 2oz Friday even with Monday being a holiday. Very nice nugs with no crushing. I really appreciate the opportunity for access to this quality at such reasonable prices. I had a very pleasant and relaxed night. Looking forward to some quality sativa (hint, hint).
I do not see any issue in regards to a vendor requiring FE for large orders, or any other particular vendor rules. A buyer should not make a purchase if they have any reservations, trust your gut. Same for the vendors, they have no obligation to deal with every buyer. This is not amazon, no matter how much it feels like it. I follow the forums pretty closely to track which vendors have the best reps. So far they have all deserved the glowing reviews.

Ok, here's a more thorough review.
I ordered 2oz's on Monday. Package arrived on Saturday to non-coastal US. No smell from the package, and it actually sat in a closed room for a full day so I would have definitely smelled it. Packaging was great. Vacuum packed nicely and stealthily shipped. Several layers between the product and the world.
As far as the product itself... wow. When NorCal says you won't be doing much after he's 100% absolutely right. This stuff will put you on your ass in a hurry. Great taste and if you grind it up or really get it broken up it will burn forever it seems like. It was making it around 4 times in a bong that is usually dead by the 2nd time around. Nugs are incredibly dense as well. These nugs are small kind of like pop corn chicken but they last a long time. Overall this stuff is well worth the price he's asking and NorCal has been a great business man in communication, service, and product.

Well guys, my 8th came this morning! I have to head out to work in a few minutes so no smoke report just yet, but very inconspicuous packaging Norcal, and incredibly quick shipping. Opening it now and the stink is strong after opening the first vacuum seal. A sign of chronic buds! Smell is very reminiscent of the Master I'm used to, with the strong kushy overtone, and subtle citrusy and earthy undertones. Buds are perfectly manicured, not compressed at all, and dense as hell! I don't own a scale, but I can tell it is VERY heavy. It looks so heavy that I'm starting to think you may have mixed up the packages Norcal! :o Trichomes are visible through the bag, and the nugs are very nicely sized with little stemmage.
All in all, I am VERY pleased with Norcal's service, packaging, and from first glance the product as well! I will update with a smoke report when I get home from work. Wonderful job NorCal. I hope you're apart of this community for a very long time, and show some of the shakier vendors a thing or two on proper service. Cheers!

Like I said, here's the smoke report. Tried it out of my bong, and the smoke is very smooth on inhale, but expands in the lungs. It tastes very earthy, but at the same time you get a strong kushy taste. Not creeper at all. As soon as the smoke left my lungs, it hit me like a truck. Strong body high, but very cerebral at the same time. It's been like 3 months since the last time I smoked, and I'm high as fuck after a snap. lol ;D

NorCal's Master Kush is amazing. WE sat down to sample the flowers and three hours later we started moving again.
Im a daily smoker with a tolerance much higher than i would prefer and this medicine had me feeling better than anything i have had in quite a long while.
It hits you in the head rather quickly and then the high slowly creeps up ever higher but if you dont stay on top of your shit, couch lock potential is great with the MK.

I received my second order from NorCal420 yesterday. He/She provided great communication and helped me with a custom order which is always appreciated. The shipping was fast just like last time and the packaging was stealthy. The Master Kush was still incredible and had me feeling extremely good. I was a little dissapointed in the Blue Dream though. It had a great appearance, pungent smell, and decent taste but it really didn't get me that high. I will be ordering some more of the Master Kush it really is some super good smoke and I can't wait to try some edibles I bet there super potent.

I'm not really a message board kind of person, but just to put my two cents in, NorCal's organic Master Kush is amazing medicine. Stress melts away, it's a very relaxing high and it tastes really good too, the way a kush should taste. It really knocked out my lower back pain too and put me back on a regular sleeping schedule, getting a full straight eight hours every night, eating three meals a day, all that good stuff. It has that classic "a little goes a long way" indica trait and if you smoke too much at one time, you WILL take an enforced nap. haha! Music sounds really good with it and it's easy to go deep in thought with this stuff. I was impressed with how the buds were manicured, it's obvious they were grown and harvested by someone who cares - and I have a lot of respect for that.

Just got in my Pineapple Thai today. Packagining was vacs on vacs on vacs, super stealthy. The buds were super fluffy in the overweight bag and they smoke something amazing. Very distinct smell to the medicine that comes at you out of the bag. I cannot speak to the high yet as i have been rather stoned all day but the visual appeal tells me we have something fancy here.
The nugs are dense but break up rather easily in your hands, with crystals easly visible when you break em up.
NorCal had this across the country in three days at a price that is unbeatable, with the quality to match.
I really do appreciate you NorCal, have fun on vacation.

Wanted to give a full review for my experience with NorCal... he's doing everything right and wanted to point some things out that vendors should take note of...
Placed an order for an HP Sunday. I offered to finalize early because of the large amount. He responded immediately and said if I finalized that night it'd be shipped the next day. Did so and received Wednesday, super fast shipping, that was from basically coast to coast.
Product came in a rigid box. I MUCH prefer that to large flat rate envelopes so its much appreciated. Why vendors use flat rate envelopes where you can get mashed product or just the fact that it feels squishy to the touch I don't know. Vendors, charge us the extra $5 for the box.
Product was wrapped up nicely. It did shake around loosely in the box but it was well protected. Vendor uses color barriers which I rarely get but are an easy addition for protection (another point).
Zero smell even after removing outer vac layer. Product was loosely vacced on the first layer, which prevents the buds from being compressed. To my knowledge, there is ZERO relation to how tight the product is vacced to how well it guards from smell, so I love the first not-too-tight vac layer (another point).
Buds are beauties. Nicely sized, nice color, well manicured. You can tell these buds are well taken care of. Smell is sweet and piney, and permeates strongly. Frost noticeable to the naked eye.
Only had one client try it so far. He's a regular client with a huge tolerance, and he says its the best I've had in for a long time.
A+++ for communication, shipping, product, everything! I'll be keeping this on the menu for the foreseeable future if all stays the same.

You are correct about the prices. Indoor is more visually appealing and sells better with younger folks, Outdoor has more flavor and aroma and sells betters with older folks.
ps - the menu will almost always be at least 80% indoor strains, 20% outdoor strains. I just know more people that grow indoor vs outdoor.
About Update 11 - Asking gets you a lot farther in this world than assuming, so remember to ask nicely and I'll most likely take your order.

If I could give more than 5/5 for feedback than I would have.
Communication was the up-most professional. NorCal answered all my questions very quickly and right to the point. Anyone looking to have a secure feeling when buying SHOULD buy from this vendor.
Shipping was fantastic, fast and very professionally. Took 4 days from coast to coast. Package came and was completely package professionally. I do not want to go into detail but lets just say there were no problems with smell or anything else. I also, would like to add that the bud did not come compressed. So thank you NorCal for that.
Last and most importantly, lets talk about the star of the show, the Cannabis. I was ONE HUNDRED percent happy with the product that I got. The Master Kush was awesome, great earthy smell and pretty much knocked my on my ass last night.

ps - i will be offering "crumble buds" of the MK for around 150/Oz. These are the small fluffy buds that don't get trimmed. It's good for rolling joints or cooking with. @ usp6615gawd - The cookies are made by a friend of mine, they use trim of Master Kush. Not sure about the ratio used to make them, but i can say it takes me 4 cookies most people it only takes 2 cookies.
These will be the same cookies I sent out samples of, so if some of the people who got samples could post some feedback I would be appreciated.
@ jimcarrey222 - the crumble buds are the small fluffy buds that aren't worth trimming. I normally keep it to roll joints with, bud it's also good for cooking. The potency is relatively the same.

About the cookies.
The cookies are sugar cookies made with some sort of green butter. They are strong tasting, deliciously weedy.
A bag came with six cookies, and they are about 1.5inches wide in circumference.
They were strong, but I would rather eat a brownie and just get it over with.
Very good cookies to have with a coffee or something.

This is a review for my order of NorCal's bubble hash. Shipping: took 5 days which was as advertised so 5/5, this goes for packaging as well very secure no smell was emanated whatsoever . Product: 5/5, ordered 2 g's order came fat about .4 thank you very much :) the hash is a nice dark color, very dense, burns nice and slow, and the potency is superb one bowl (~.3 ish with some herb surrouding) had me feeling great for the better part of my day. Asked the Master Kush to swing back around our neck of the woods and wouldn't ya know, he showed up today after heading out the door on Monday. Looks like he put on some weight...a bit fatter than usual but that's to be expected when being cared for by NorCal. OK, I keep trying to write this review, but everytime I go to post it, everything times out, and my tor stops working completely. So, let's try this one more time. I know that some may discount what I say due to not being on the forums for very long. I am new to the forums, but not to the road, and I write this for the ones who will actually take this review into account. I ordered on Tuesday from NorCal, and I recieved today. Excellent communication, and was told right after ordering when it would ship. The packaging was pretty good, but the smell came through just a bit upon opening. The weed itself was over weight, 4.1 g. and I ordered an 8th. My scale is accurate, and was calibrated 2 weeks ago. The buds are Master Kush, and they are large and dense. Very dense, with an earthy, yet slightly spicy undertone. Very nice. The trichomes are plentiful to the point of giving a slightly silver haze across the bud. I do not have a good camera, and so I will not insult everyone with ultra low def pics.
Now for the medical review...Chemo patients, you know the dull, constant ache in the belly that comes with the nausea? After2 hits off the bowl, it started going away, along with the nausea. After 4 hits, it was gone completely. The high is a perfect blend of physical and mental, quite euphoric. I would not call it energetic, perse, but def. not sedating...I had no couch lock. Indica dominant, with some hints of sativa. Def. enhanced the music I was listening to, but that is par for the course...lol
The best part? An hour after finishing the bowl, I ate a whole subway sub, (and actually was hungry!!) and kept it down. To those who are not medical users, I tell you...this is nothing short of a miracle. My appetie has been a distant memory, along with eating anything at all and keeping it down. I feel great after eating, and look forward to dinner. I am happy to call NorCal my new medicine provider.

I'm so happy with the latest arrival. Myself and all the chittlins have had a thing for Blue Dream but it rarely seems to show up around here. To be blessed with such a great representation of the strain is wonderful. The order shipped on Friday of last week and made it here on monday safe and sound.

I have been dealing with NorCal for about 2 months now. Every order has been spot on, and NorCal has been true to his word. Norcal will be my first place to check out prior to making a purchase for some wares. I have had MK from another vendor on the road, and I must say NorCal takes much pride and care in his work. I have come to know that distinct smell I get when I crack open the sac for the first time. That MK smell just burst out the bag, and knocks me out.
I also got the chance to try out his Hash Oil. I tried it out with my buddies last night, and we all enjoyed the great buzz after a couple of dabs. Overall very impressed, and thankful for having a friend that takes great care of my orders. On a daily basis I am all business with what I do IRL, but not many people bring a smile to my face like NorCal does 8)

Just wanted to throw in a quick word on Norcal....
I've had both his Master Kush, and his BLUE DREAM, and they are both friggin' amazing. We're talking big, beautiful, aesthetic, aromatic buds here.
They look so good it's almost a shame to combust them.
However, I suppose that is the ultimate point, and I must say these products do not disappoint in that arena either. You will get medicated, my friends. Very medicated with a smooth, delicious smoke.
If you cannot tell, I am a huge fan of Norcal and his products. Definitely my favorite vendor here on SR, and I will even go so far as to say....
His Blue Dream is the best weed I have ever seen / smoked in my 5+ year marijuana connoisseur career!!
Seriously, that is one listing that if I see up, I'm in a mad rush to take out a massive loan and secure some bitcoin.
If all this seems a bit overly enthusiastic, just keep in mind I am currently flying on a bowl of Blue Dream as we speak.
In conclusion: Norcal is an A++ Vendor with A++ products (at least as far as his Master Kush and Blue Dream go, as I haven't tried anything else yet). His Blue Dream especially is the finest weed I have ever seen OR smoked, ever, in over 5 years of consistent toking.

Shipping- Product was shipped on Thursday and arrived to the east coast on Saturday. It TOOK only two days. Norcal has his shipping down to a science! Product came properly sealed. When I finally got down to the last layer my room filled with a dank smell.

Going to be placing another order for some MK when I get my coins restocked. Was wondering if anyone can give me dosing info on the oil? I mean, I typically use a bowl of the mk for medicinal and it will have a lasting effect for about half the day, continuing after the actual high wears off. Then a bowl about two hours before bed. I have never used oil, so what would the dosing be to get an equal effect? OR would it just be better to stick with the bud and with what I know? I have heard good things about oil, this is why I am getting curious...

Norcals oil is great so if you do decide to go with it youll be using the best. It is, as are all oils and concentrates, very potent. It is best to smoke out of a vaporizer as it can be hard to smoke by itself out of a bowl. What I tend to do is pack a bowl ( or half a bowl ) and put a few drops of oil on the weed itself. The easiest way to do this is to get it on the tip of a undone paper clip and then heat about an inch or so about that with a lighter. This will cause it to drip right off and meld into the buds in the bowl. hope this helps!(:

I would like to take a minute to address the 2 recent negative reviews:
Buyer "Damod78" Ordered 1/2oz MK. Sent me a message saying he received the order but was disappointed about the size of the buds, My response was that someone has to get the bottom of the bag, which is true. Also the size of buds varies between different growers. When i weigh out bags I'm not picking out big buds for this order and small buds for that order. I grab a hand full of buds and throw it on the scale. My problem with this buyer is that they didn't finalize the order promptly once it was received, as stated on my vendor page. They waited several days and only finalized after I sent them a message stating that if they didn't finalize the order I would add them to my Banned Buyers List. Review left was 2 out of 5.
Buyer "DougLou" Ordered 3 grams Hash Oil. Sent me this message:
"I received the oil today. I have dealt with oil before, and since I split it with three people, we weighed out the oil and dispersed it into separate jars. I weighed the oil on my scale (which weighs to the .000 mind you), and realized it was 2.347. Now I'm not one to be rude about loss of weight, but this is off by .7, nearly a g. And that's not negligable. I appreciate the extra tree you threw in, but I needed the oil and I needed it to be right. This is the second time this has happened to me on the SR, and I only got ten dollars back last time. I would like the amount it was off if possible, because if not I'm just going to be out money, and refund was I'd prefer to not get thirty dollars back, because I bought the oil with the idea in mind I would get what I paid for. I'm not trying to be an inconvenience, just frustrated this has happened to me twice."
I replied:
"short answer is your scale is wrong, i just checked mine and it's right on target. Also i do all orders heavy. I know for a fact i sent 3.3 grams of oil."
So was I suppose to admit fault when I knew I was right? Review left 2 out of 5.

Picked up some of the Sour Diesel that norcal420 has and it is FUCKING delicious. The smell is to die for and it is really smooth to smoke. Sad I didn't get more while they had it. Also they have the best packaging I've seen from any weed vendor on SR.

I ordered an 8th from NorCal. It arrived in just a few days from coast to coast, and was packed pretty discreetly. It was a little compressed but the bud smoked beautifully and everyone who had a taste loved it. Cheers NorCal. I'd consider buying again, but organic just doesn't do it for me. The bud is great though and I'd recommend it to anyone looking for a nice couch-lock stone.

Ordered a 1/4 of NorCal's Green Crack. Super fast shipping, basically two day- ordered on a Sunday to ship on Monday, arrived in Southeast U.S. on Wednesday. Stealth packaging with plenty layers. Slightly compressed and stuck together, but the buds pulled apart and fluffed up easily. AAA+ bud, no complaints. Made me realize my local stuff in this price range is just NOT up to par. Feels like sativa, very uplifting conversational motivational bud. Couldn't be more pleased, thanks NorCal!

I'm glad to see positive reviews on NC420's GC buds.
I was very skeptical to use SR a few weeks ago, I assumed from bitcoin purchase to SR purchase that it was somehow going to fail. Although I placed an order with NC420 for 1/4 of the Master Kush and had 0 problems with the entire process. The sac was heavy by a few grams at LEAST, or my local vendors have been shorting me on overpriced 1/4's of "almost dank cannabis" (probably both since I don't have any scales.) The packaging was scentless to say the least, a very stealthy approach indeed. The communication is solid with NC420 and professional, as I expect any Business Man like myself to act.
I ordered some GC and if everything works out smoothly like it did the first time, NC420 has a new customer for the life of SR. Now if NC420 will pickup some hash and edibles he will be my one-stop-shop on SR as I like to diversify my experiences with the sacred plant.

It was pretty clear by the end of my readings that the leaders of the SR community seem to agree that FE simply must be avoided moving forward. From product to packaging, norcal is a TOP vendor in my book. Just want to step in here and say I bought a OZ of these crumble buds and wanted to give a huge thanks to norcal to making my weekend happen. I requested (and paid) for faster shipping and it was no problem. The crumble buds are really good too. They work GREAT in bubble bags, its not like trim you don't need as much at all. Lots of end product. That is not to say they don't go great in bowls and rolling too. Really almost just as good as big buds. The price is just right for it. There is a little debris/leaves, probably a gram worth at MAX, but no where near as much weight from stems from an OZ of large buds ;), I am pretty sure this is a couple/few grams over anyways, crappy scale says 30. The smell is an earthy Kush/Kief smell that is very pleasant, blasts you in the face on the last layer. Taste is pretty non existent which is good. Burns clean and easy. Seller has professional packaging. A+++

Got ahold of a QP(4oz) of master kush from norcal420hookup and everything was perfect. Perfect packaging, communication and quality weed. When i was weighing out i could press the buds together and pick another up because it was so sticky!
TL;DR - Norcal420hookup is one of the finest vendors on SR if not the best for all marijuana needs!

I say that because I decided to give SR a try and placed my first order via NorCal420HookUp. I was really nervous about the whole experience but NorCal420 did everything right. The packaging was impressive. The weight was over. I have smoked for over 15 years and the MK sent to me was some of the best, if not the best, medicine I have ever had.

Just got my half onion of the organic master kush and by god, so great. You can tell it's organic without a doubt. Taste is perfect, not too dry not too moist nugs that were naturally dense, stemless, no shake, just...everything was right. I'm down for NorCal any day now. Will for sure be a repeat customer.
Also the packaging was incredibly legit - really well done.
Shipping was pretty good, ordered Tuesday, shipped Wednesday, arrived today (Saturday). I do wish the priority option had been available though.

It saddens me to have to wait till October for this harvest because I have to deal with sub-par marijuana from other vendors (Cant mention names, but I bought an ounce of Jack Frost and 2 ounces of Green Crack from them) until you harvest so I cant wait! But the wait will be worth it!

just wanted to post my review on NorCal's og kush x ssh. i won't dwell on the shipping/packaging too much. there is nothing to worry about on that front. primarily smaller buds, but that isn't too much of a problem for me. they are all nice and frosty. the smell reminds me of that furniture spray pledge...really unique...you'd love it. very impressed with the taste of this bud. as one person commented on his vendor page, it really is delicious. he says it's better than his master kush, i say they're neck and neck :) overall i am very pleased with this bud. about to hit some more right now...

STRAIN: OG Kush x Super Silver Haze
***Delivery*** - 5/5 - Ordered Sunday night, and received Friday. I've had worst, I've had better
***Packaging*** - 2/5 - It was sealed & stealth, but it looks like the weed was put through a commercial rolling pin. Compressed would be an understatement. Maybe it's just me, but I love looking at beautifully cured buds, and this packaging has made that impossible.
***Smell*** - 5/5 - This bud was loud! Once I opened the last seal, I was bitch-slapped by lemon-y/pine-y dankness. My apartment smelled like a small grow-op for the next 9 hours.
***Taste*** - 5/5 - Delicious, just like it smelled. Taste was very clean. Wish all bud tasted this good.
***High*** - 5/5 - Cerebral/Art-y high, kinda chatty, very little red-eye, nice body high towards the end. Everything I love in a great Sativa!
***Final Thoughts*** - Great Bud, at a Great Price. If the vendor promised me he would deliver whole uncompressed buds next time, I would gladly come back and fully endorse. In the meantime, I may check out the competition.

First time using Norcal420hookup and I am very satisfied with my experience.
The communication was very fast and curtious. I asked about trying another strain that he was currently selling and he offered to send some no charge. I FE per listing agreement and had no worries his feedback was great. Arrived in 6 days through USPS and was over Columbus day. Fairly stealth packaging all the necessary barriers for detection. Compression was limited :) I would give the herb 2 thumbs up very nice frosting and the smell/taste is great. 5/5 all around!

3 weeks and counting. This is my 1st time growing the Bubba Kush and it's by far the best crop I've ever grown. Going to be growing the BK exclusively from now on. To those of you who can't live without the MK I recommend Mr. Humboldt for your MK needs, however I think this crop of BK will satisfy even the most Hardcore smoker.

I'm going to write a detailed review for my order because I feel that my pictures don't do it any justice and I am so incredibly pleased with this vendor's quality that I'm obligated to do so.
Let me preface by saying that I had created a thread specifically looking for top shelf, dispensary quality Kushes. This vendor came recommended in the thread so I thought I'd give him a go. After a little communication, I felt comfortable placing an order for some Master Kush. I was required to FE for the quantity I wanted, but this vendor has a great reputation so I didn't worry about that dynamic. I was a little torn between the Master and Bubba, but NC420HU told me to just choose one, and he'd hook it up with a sample of the other. Anyway, I ordered Sunday evening and had the package by Thursday afternoon. Impressive because it was shipped first class from the opposite coast. Packaging was good. No odors whatsoever and that speaks to the packaging because this bud stinks!
First, my order was overweight by a few grams which is always nice. Additionally, the vendor came through on his word to send a sample of the Bubba. It could be considered more than a sample truthfully. A fat nug and a smaller nodule. Looks amazing, but I don't want to digress from the Master. Man, this weed is DANK. It's totally up to par with the top quality kush you find in dispensaries. It is convered in trichomes, absolutely wreaks of kush, and tastes delicious. It's a smooth smoke and burns to fine, white ash which says something about the care that went into flushing, drying and curing. The buds are perfectly manicured, and there was a good distribution of big to small nuggets. 0 shake, all nuggets. It smokes really stoney. Doesn't take much to have you stuck, but in a good way. Truthfully, I can't believe the prices are so low for this bud. This stuff could be priced WAYYYY higher than it is, but I guess NC420HU is more concerned with people having their medicine and enjoying his hard work. I couldn't be more happy with this vendor. I've been smoking weed for decades and have smoked the finest shit in Cali and Amsterdam and this guy sits right there with them. Please give this dude a try. I promise you will not be disappointed. it will be AAA top shelf. I tend to think mine is the best, but to be honest it will be as good or better than mine. I only buy from other professional growers who put in the time to do it right. I don't think anyone will be disappointed with anything I add to the menu.

I got a 3g sample from NorCal420HookUp. To say the least it is absolutely awesome. Shipping/packing was great. I received 1 gram of master kush, 1 gram of bubba kush and 1 gram of cheese. The cheese was by far the smelliest and best tasting right out of the bag, not to mention it looked beautiful. The master smelled very strong after I put it through the grinder and the high was great. The bubba kush was pretty stinky out of the bag and looked like it couldn't have been grown any better. I've had the bubble hash and I agree with NorCal's assessment. It's pretty dark and bubbles well at the beginning of the hit/vape/etc. but then just pretty much burns. It has a nice taste to it though and gets ya pretty stoned. I've been slabbing it on rips of the Bubba and watching ppl pass out :P It's priced well for what it is. Which did you like better: The Cheese or the Bubba? This dude's Bubba is some SEXY cannabis!

The bubba looks immaculate, there is no denying that. If I had to rank the 3 samples I got they would be as follows. 1. master kush 2. bubba kush 3. cheese
It's a tight race. I'm basing this off of the high alone. If I were grading on rank MAYBE the bubba would beat the master. I really like them both, a lot, to be honest with you.

Ha, I had the same experience when sharing the bubba. I had a older guy asleep on my couch for 3 hours after smoking a few hits of it.
I think that's why I been liking that cheese so much lately, I can smoke it all day and not feel like i was run over with a truck.

I rarely hear of vendors getting scam, it does happen, I agree, but the FE, moneypak, outside of escrow, etc scam continue daily. Why because nice vendors such as yourself encourage it, because of greed. Escrow founded this place, and escrow is the backbone that keeps this place running. How many times do people need to be told to use it? Oh your vendor is good. It only takes a few weeks, and one good sale to run off with some nice coin. These scam that weeks to stop. Why do they happen because of our greed, and lust for drugs. Common sense, which can be bought BTW on SR, tells us this is wrong but we continue to do it. You being the nice vendor encourage it knowing full well we give up all our rights to a happy ending. Thank you for outing yourself. :-*
I reject all forms of loop holes around the use of escrow, even by good vendors. Countless vendors have come and gone with your BTC.
Escrow protects both parties, it's why a few is paid, added to each sale, in order to support the system that hopefully protects us all.

If you took the time to read and understand my policy's regarding F.E. you would see that it's for orders of 1oz or more. You and anyone else can order less than an 1oz and no F.E. is required. I know that the main reason for F.E. for large orders is common among vendors is that large orders deplete inventory, and money is needed to re-supply. I couldn't stay stocked if i had to wait weeks for btc to clear escrow. If there were a better system in place that met both the needs of the buyers and the needs of the sellers, i would be all for it.
I will be encouraging my fellow vendors to not give in to your demands, and to set policy's that they feel comfortable with. I will not be changing my F.E. policy.
Or how about we vendors stop selling large quantity's and everyone can buy their weed in 8th's and 1/4's, with no F.E. required. Sounds like a plan to me. I would make more money and you wouldn't have a reason to wine.

First off you are both correct. I can't force you to do anything, nor can I force a buyer to have common sense. I can however request people boycott FE in it's entirety.
You may be a great vendor but your policies cause the system to be corrupt, and buyers are hurt here on a daily basis because this policy has become the norm. The wolves swoop in and take advantage. You leave the buyers open for the kill.
There are many reason not to FE as well. Do as you please this is not an attack on any one vendor. Please discuss my views in your private forum with follow vendors.

I think I have a solution for you buyers. If Norcal doesn't change his policy in 48 hours I will post competing vendors who offer better prices and/or quality without the FE crap.
Sound fair? That way you have only one reason to shop here. No threats, just doing a service for my fellow buyers.

Really it's my policy, ummmm......well I think I'll start my own boycott. I'm thinking that I'll stop selling amounts of more than 1oz, and sell all bulk amounts off-road. I have already established relationships with buyers who have no problem paying up front, and this way SR get's cut out of the deal altogether. The buyer saves money, and still gets the same service and quality product. You seem not have forgotten before Silk Road all mail order drugs were transactions based on trust, I have earned the trust of my customers.

You are fighting a useless battle, there will always be people who FE for untrusted vendors no matter how much we try to warn them. And scams still happen all the time without requiring FE....correlation is not causation

if you can get your product to your customer quick, and they finalize as soon as they get their order, i don't see why you can't wait 3 or 4 days to get your money. I feel as though you should remain in escrow for buyers who have good stats, but you can run your business however you feel fit.

I was probably the second customer NorCal420 had, and he has been always straight up. He has taken care of me plenty times. I have never been wronged, and we have done some serious volume.

Ive been looking forward to working my up to place my own orders from him since then. Never looked at his rules as discriminatory or greedy, they made sense to me. Ive been ready to order for a few weeks, and was going to check his page to see what was on the menu today, and you know the rest...Hopefully NC makes his way back.
To the jackass who started this ridiculous topic, not even worth typing your name, you have effectively done the very thing you accuse NC420 of doing. I wonder how many people no longer have the option of exercising their freedom by placing an order with the vendor of their choice.

Due to a disagreement between myself and SR support, my seller's account has TEMPORARILY been suspended. A big thanks to UNIWIZ for starting this shit storm, it's not like I didn't have anything else going on in my life (Sarcasm). I will post an update soon about this matter.
In the mean time I will take orders via norcal420@tormail.org. I'm sorry for an inconvenience this may cause my customers. I will still be shipping all orders that were accepted before my account freeze, so no worries.

The seller's guide says nothing about having to refuse off road or banning off road transactions. If I have built a relationship with a buyer, and that buyer wants to do business off road, that's between me and my customer. Silk Road has no right to demand payment for activity's it was not involved in. Not to mention all the business i lost during the weeks of the site being down last time, also not being able to access funds during that time cost me money too. But I am not demanding SR pay me for loss of revenue, I just want to do business in way that both myself & my customers are comfortable with.

I can't believe this BS. NorCal is a top of the line vendor. He's never asked me to FE on small or large orders. Sometimes I do FE only because he provides top notch service with a fucking smile, not because it's required. If he did require a FE for a large order I would have no problem with it because I know he'll get his coins and I'll get my order, no doubt about that.
If you have a problem with NorCal policy, you have a problem with your self. No one is forcing you to buy from NorCal so if you don't agree with his policy don't buy from him, it's simple.

My account has been UN-Suspended, and I'm taking order through my vendor account on SR again. The new F.E. policy is that bulk amounts (more than 1oz) will no longer require F.E. for established/reputable buyers. I will decide what qualifies as established/reputable on a case by case basis. A general guideline would be: has been a member for at least 3 months, 0% auto-finalized rate, 0% refund rate.

SHIPPING- 5/5- Ordered Saturday night, shipped Monday(NYE), received NE USA Saturday. Packaging was stealth and discrete. Tightly sealed under multiple layers. Very nice. You can tell norcal spends time packaging each order individually, and it should be appreciated and is well worth the cost.
PRODUCT- 5/5- Fresh buds from northern california, awesome. I got the Master Kush and Blue Dream, along with some shake. Norcal even threw in a sample of his cheese that looks very trichomy and cheesy. the buds came pretty compressed, but they jarred up nicely, and smokes perfect. this is the kind of high quality bud straight from cali that makes SR great. very happy here.

I have done plenty of biz with Norcal, and he has never, not ever, even after I FE'd, fucked me over.

I use to do OOE buys, until SR Support starting making examples, and LTTM left the road. My vendors started to refusing to do it,, and it has been done quietly ever since. I agree the outage encouraged that activity.
There was a long thread about OOE, a long time ago. I could still OOE, but don't out of respect for the system. Does it cost more? Yes.

I won't go on a tyrant about this, because SR Support has to make an example of you, or loose money. I think OOE, is better than FE. I would support it, but I would get banned, by people I respect. DPR said that in violated the rule that says "Do not create listings that instruct customers to pay outside of escrow, or are used for any purpose other than to list an item to be sold for the listed price using the site checkout system." In no way did my "other" listing instruct buyers to pay out of escrow, in the description for the "other" listing it said " this listing is to leave feedback for non-Silk Road transactions." The listing price was .01 btc and the listing was accurate in it's description of the item being sold. The buyers of that listing were paying to leave feedback for OOE transactions and no one complained that they didn't get what they paid for from that listing. DPR acknowledged that vendors are not under exclusive contract with SR and and free to conduct business off road. I felt I was right in this matter, however there isn't any higher authority to appeal to about it, so I had to give in to SR's demands or loose my account.

Take from his statement what you will. I don't agree with your use of the term new loophole, buyers always have had the choice of doing business with a vendor outside of SR. Show me where in the seller's guide it says vendors can only sell on SR, or anything that would validate your new loophole theory.

As far as my earlier apology goes: I wrote the original rather harsh posts when I was greyed out on banana clonitrils. Here in the morning, in the cold light of sobriety and 50mg of Boymaster's finest amp, I see that I could have been more civil. OTOH, you're also spouting a lot of stupid shit that really deserves to be challenged. Let's see if I can put this issue in a more polite framework.
You and I agree on FE about 99%. If a deal sounds too good to be true but demands FE, it is probably a scam. And from a vendor's perspective FE provides quicker access to funds at the cost of making your record-keeping more complicated. I send something in escrow and it hasn't arrived in two weeks: I look at orders in transit and know exactly what I sent and when I sent it. If you FEd I have to take your word for what I sent you, look back through past transactions, and generally spend more time and effort correcting the situation.
That's right: correcting the situation. Because the majority of vendors who are FEing fully intend to make good on their orders. The cost to my reputation of having someone running around saying "The Wiz stiffed me on a 50 bitcoin FE deal" would be greater, in the very short run, than the money I would make. Scammer vendors like the Farmacy are penny wise and pound foolish. There's a lot more money to be made on SR by honest vending - a LOT more money. (I have no fucking idea why someone who was fast on his way to becoming one of SR's top weed vendors decided to pull that shit. That scam cost him far more than any of his victims).
I know some vendors - my good friend RevenantChild comes to mind immediately - demands FE and says flat out "no refunds, you're on your own" when mailing to certain high risk countries like Russia, Ukraine, etc. I've had a package to Russia disappear, although so far I've also had another one arrive. If it got to the point where I was losing more packages than I was sending I'd say "sorry, I don't mail to your country." I'm running a business here, not a charity. I am sympathetic to people who have problems with their mail, but I'm not so sympathetic that I can keep sending them drugs they never receive. But if they decided to take the risk of losing their investment and were cool with that, is there any reason why a vendor shouldn't send their drugs and let them takes their chances?
LexiSadie, an example I gave earlier, was at one time and may still be offering a "FAT SACK" for those who finalized early. LexiSadie is one of the oldest and most trusted vendors on SR: she has nothing to gain by burning someone over 3 or 4 grams of weed and to date I've not heard anyone complain that she took their money and sent them bupkis. If she chooses to send out extra product to increase her bitcoin liquidity, and her customers choose to FE in exchange, then how is this a problem?
Many vendors who are drop-shipping demand FE. A few of these transactions have gone spectacularly wrong and people have lost a lot of bitcoins. But I'd argue that bulk is a whole different game than buying for personal use. For one thing, there's a non-zero chance that your vendor has been compromised by law enforcement. There's very little chance of John Law knocking at your door over that half ounce of Humboldt's finest: a half pound, OTOH, may very well get their attention. And ISTR we had an SR vendor busted with a shitload of 2c-e (Daviddd?) who set up a bunch of "bulk buys" which led to controlled deliveries and arrests. So losing bitcoins if you FE is the least of your concerns. Presumably you have already established a working relationship with your vendors and trust them enough to do the right thing. If you haven't, then you don't trust them enough to engage in a transaction that could send you to prison.
Like I said, I don't do FE myself and found it more of a pain in the ass than it was worth. And yes, FE is the scammer's favorite tool, along with the ever-popular "I have a bunch of bitcoins and will exchange for WU/Moneypak." But just as there are honest bitcoin vendors like SugarMama and a few others whose names escape me, there are also honest vendors of all product who require or encourage FE. In both these cases you're SOL if things go wrong -- SR can't refund your Moneypak or the bitcoins you FEd on. All other things being equal, I would definitely go with a vendor who does escrow over a vendor who requires FE. But no matter who I order from I'm going to do a bit of research and I'm not going to send any money I can't afford to lose, escrow or no escrow.
My problem with your approach is you're overgeneralizing. You're acting like every vendor who uses FE at any time for any reason is an active or potential scammer, and that everyone who criticizes your conclusions is really a vendor trying to continue his Great FE Scam. And that's alienating a lot of people who support what you are doing.
For those who care, here are the Grand Wizard's thoughts and suggestions on early finalization:
1) If you are new to SR I advise strongly against finalizing early: you don't yet know who you can and cannot trust. Yes, many vendors demand FE from newbies: there are many others that don't. In practice I've found a lot of the vendors who demand FE from newbies do so primarily to discourage them: newbs tend to make the inevitable noob mistakes like raving in detail about your packaging on forums, auto-finalizing, giving you glowing comments and 4/5 stars which knocks down your rating, etc..
2) Never FE more than you can afford to lose, and never FE with someone you haven't already done business with in escrow, in another forum, etc.
3) If you live in a country with really tight customs or a really sloppy postal system (Scandinavia and the former Soviet Union come to mind here, respectively) you may have to FE if ordering internationally. Sorry about that, and sorry that some people will use this as an excuse to rip you off. As SR expands I suspect you'll start seeing more domestic vendors and be able to take care of escrow that way.
4) If you are FEing on a big drop ship order, understand that you're playing in the major leagues and that losing your bitcoins is the absolute least of your problems.
5) When in doubt, don't FE.
6) Never forget this is not eBay or Amazon: we're selling illegal drugs here. If you have the judgment to use these substances responsibly you should have the good judgment to use FE responsibly. If not, all the preaching in the world isn't going to help.
In other words, a lot of this argument is me and Uniwiz dick-waving at each other. I believe vendors with good track records who ask for FE under certain circumstances should still be listed as "honest vendors." Unless I'm misreading Uniwiz, he does not think they should. We're pretty much on the same page insofar as everything else is concerned.
Uniwiz, I generally like you, guy. You're a fellow lover of cannabis and you really are doing this out of a desire to protect people. You have already provided plenty of reasons why people should avoid FE and plenty of warnings which any newbie would do well to heed. But did you ever stop to think maybe you are taking this a wee bit too seriously?

Meaning, if you don't want to FE, or if you don't like a seller's requirement, then take your business elsewhere. You want a nanny state on SR, grow up. You want a fascist state on SR, get real. Just do your business and let other do theirs as well. The fact you felt that you needed some kind of permission to do any kind of business outside of SR shows you don't have much backbone. About 6 months ago I had a nice stash of hash. The best at the time was my bubble from the 420 sale. I loved that stuff that out of the 2 grams I had I only smoked about half a g. Long story short I lost that 1.5 a while ago.

I was so hi last time I vac sealed the hell outta this small stash then hide it away and today while cleaning wammo!

Good news everyone: I have a steady supply of the Cheese so should be able to resupply with-in a few days of selling out, also the next harvest is about a week away and will be all BK (no MK this round). I will be on "vacation" for harvest next week 2/13 -2/20. So Monday (2/11) will be the cut off for orders before my "vacation".

I recently placed my first order with NorCal420 and grabbed one of the FE discount deals. Everything about the order was perfect! The packaging was a bit different than I'm used to for this qty, but was very stealthy and did not crush the buds. The Bubba Kush itself is just phenomenal - nice sized buds and an awesome, kushy smell. It is also very well cured, which is reflected in the taste. Lovely strain overall, definitely a new favorite.

While I'm sure Norcal is an excellent vendor, I'm not really sure how you can say that about SourDieselMan. His shipping, product, and communication were always on point. Usually got an extra 10 g's or so per order, dank tree, and his prices could not be beat. Really I'm looking for another SourDieselMan. surprised how good the packaging was. about $820 for a qp or b.k indoor. buds were har, tight and not compressed. good deal. i was worried about fe'ing early. i actually rushed to buy because btc was falling fast friday. it was way over a $100 less if i finalized early so i went for it. in the end, it worked out fine.

Received my QP of outdoor Sour Diesel a few days ago. NorCal comes thru every time! Quality was right on spot for the price. Shipping was speedy and packaging was very good, very professional. Perfect sized box. Got to the right coast in 3 days after marked in transit.
The bud has a different smell and taste than the other strains of Diesel I've had. The smell is decently loud and the taste is citrusy. Has good bag appeal and is pretty sticky. The buzz is the best part about this bud, stronger than what I had expected. My customers are used to indoor, but they loved the sour diesel.

had a chance to break into the packages last night, all I can say is DAMN, this is some well grown, well cared for bud. I got a qp of fire og and a qp of candy kush. The fire og is amazing in every way. The smell, taste, feel, high is all on point, top shelf bud for sure. When I opened the package the buds just fell apart, weight was a little over too which is greatly appreciated. Candy kush is something I've never smelt in cannabis before. As soon as you smell it, candy comes to mind, there's a sweet fruity smell to it, unlike any citrus tones usually associated with fruity strains, but the weight on this one was over a good 3g's too which is just wonderful. The high and smoke on this strain is killer as well, hits you strong and lasts for hours. I'm extremely happy with the quality of the product, and it only took 3 days to get here. Norcal is a professional and perfect at what he does. The prices are a steal for what you get. Thank you for your service!!

Life has been crazy these last few weeks so I haven't been able to crank out reviews on everything I've ordered in a while. Finally I've been given a break from the chaos surrounding me and can get around to this review of his Bubba Kush! I chose to FE to get the discount on March 24, and the package was kindly waiting for me on March 27. I believe I told him a package I'd like would be one that fits in a mailbox so he sent me the four ounces in a small priority flat-rate box that did indeed fit inside my mailbox. This was quite peculiar to me as I've ordered QP's before through NWD and his all came in medium boxes so this lead me to believe a quantity like this wouldn't fit in such a small volume. Honestly, I didn't even think he sent me all four ounces and another box would be sitting inside my mailbox the next day to complete the order.
The stealth inside the box was phenomenal. I embarked on a mission more difficult than the Curiosity rover to finally get to my product; lo and behold, all four ounces were there, 112.15 grams to be exact. I was rolling on molly with my girlfriend and her best friend when I opened the package so they got a picture of me shirtless sticking my hand in a bag full of deep-orange haired cannabis. To my surprise, the weed was not compressed...at all. Somehow, NorCal420HookUp managed to fit four ounces without compression into a volume equivalent to three stacked DVD's, and to that, I tip my hat to him. SR continues to pleasantly surprise me more and more day after day.
I can't really remember what it smelled like due to it being so long ago, but what I remember is that it wasn't too strong but had a refreshing aroma, one you inhale and think to yourself, "This is great shit." It soothes the mind while caressing your body with its motherly words.
The bud itself was a little on the dry side...no, who am I kidding, it was dry. Not like the Mojave Desert dry but dry enough for the nugs to resemble a frail old man because with one drop, several bones break, leaving more than an average amount of hairs and shake for whatever surface to feast on. Whatever, though, because whatever breaks off doesn't detract from its appearance afterwards. The weed sure is a beauty to look at, royally covered both in amber hairs and snowy trichomes. It is without a doubt in my mind the hairiest marijuana I've ever bought off the Road or ever possessed in my life (some nugs were more orange than green). The four ounces were roughly one quarter large nugs (>2 grams), one half medium sized (~1 grams), and the last quarter small popcorn nugs (≤0.5 grams). I would estimate about 7 grams of shake due to the brittle nugs.
There wasn't really any taste other than a sweet sensation on the tongue. High was excellent and definitely a heady high. Left me stupid but still able to function. Can't really comment on this in more detail because the high just gets mixed in with all the rest of them in the past couple of weeks.
I was very pleased with this transaction and must say that NorCal420HookUp definitely deserves a true 5/5.

Just got my 2 ounces today. It took 8 days to the midwest, which worried me slightly but seeing NorCal give everyone the heads up on here and in his profile I knew to be patient. Boy am I glad I ordered from norcal. I have been getting sub par buds from every other vendor I have tried. Seems like most vendors are shipping west coast popcorn buds that the locals don't want. Not norcal, this shit is indoor, well cared for, sticky, frosty, and good size nugs. I got UK Kush and Green Crack. Both look great. If I had to pick one that looks better for bag appeal I would pick the UK Kush due to its light color, that goes over well in my area. The trim job is perfect on the green crack. Very nice size, compact buds. Everything is top quality indoor. Best buds I have gotten on SR, and some of the best I have ever gotten period. I will be back, next time I will be shooting for a qp. Finally made it over the 50 mark and boy does it feel nice...In any case, grabbed some of the outdoor master kush from norcal that came in over the weekend. Everything turned out great. Like many others I was a bit skeptical about FE'ing but I'm glad I did. Even being outdoor this was among some of the best nug I have come across in my area of the east. I placed a order Sunday afternoon and received Saturday. A little slower then other orders I've had from Cali but was prepared for it since he keeps his profile up to date. Packaging was great, barely compressed, and weighed a bit heavy. Very happy with the purchase and will hopefully be placing another order for some of the headband tomorrow. Can't wait to see how the indoor turns out!

Got my QP of discounted BlackBerry Kush yesterday. Amazing stuff, 4 nugs weighed out to an ounce, despite being compressed most of the big nugs remained intact, took some time carefully pulling the nugs apart though. 4 grams overweight, so no complaints from me in quantity and the quality is great, so smooth to smoke.

Just tried out NorCal for the first time and wow I'm impressed.
S&P: 7/5 - FAST - Two days from time of order to my door. The packaging was very surprising and not something I had gotten before. I was worried it would be ultra compressed but it wasn't at all. Broke up nicely and I really appreciate the compact stealth. No odor!
Communication: 7/5 - Answered all my questions without any bullshit in a friendly manner. Very short time for responses.
Weed: 5/5 - Huge great piney smells, well trimmed, well cured, A+ outdoor, smooth/nice taste, STRONG and as usual I over smoked to the point where I was worthless for a couple of hrs. Edit: forgot to add this was his last QP of outdoor at the time and I was worried about getting lots of shake and popcorn - it was all nice sized buds and zero shake.
Price: 5/5 - QP competitive with other top vendors. Slightly overweight :) FE , my choice, I don't normally do this but I had to as I was short a few coins. So glad NorCal did what he said he would.

The longest order I had when I first started doing biz with my good friend was 6 days this was a while back. Logistics is a a complex thing. People who Smoke the warez don't understand the hard work that goes into you getting that in your pipe and enjoying it.

I'd also like to point out that not only does NorCal hook us all up with the best buds, but he also finds the time to care for his own ladies amidst shipping, updating listings, sending out messages to people. I've had the indoor headband for about a week now. I shared some with a couple friends who have so far just responded with monosyllabic accolades like "Dude!" or "Nice!"
I haven't smoked headband in almost three years. I was buying locally at the time, and it quickly became one of my favorite strains. For me it's just a nice balance of being mellow but not couch-locked, and introspective and cerebral without getting paranoid. I feel like too many strains recently are trying to be the Jägermeister of weed, and I appreciate that this isn't. It's not meant to be a competition of who can get me super high as quickly as possible. This Headband is exactly as I remembered it, and it's been my nightly go-to strain for almost a week now. I've enjoyed our time together very much.
I got a well wrapped package of beautiful medium and large nugs that smell fantastic. There's no popcorn at all, and a very consistent look and feel. Keep this one's mother in your prayers and send good karma to the grower. Nice work.
I don't know what the issue was a few posts back regarding NorCal420HookUp or another NorCal like NorCalKing, but I've ordered from NorCalKing before and the service and product were excellent. It may not have inspired me to write a review, but it was as described and I would buy from them again. GREEN CRACK
Well i received my 2nd order with norcal420hookup . First time I receive bubba kush and that was hot with the hood rats. many still asking for it.
This time it was green crack. It exceeded my expectations. This shit is beautiful!!!!!!!! Super sticky, stinky, frosty, buds tighter than a clams ass, great color, taste great, heavy high.
I like to hear that walgreens dude now. I been smoking 26 years, see it all. this is good quality bud for a QP under a grand. one thing, there are some big buds, but some tiny popcorn ones as well. if it was all big buds ill be doing cartwheels.
And yeah, I finalized early, which i never do, but being a old timer i know whats most important is a mans word and reputation. And I see my man earned that and he is probably trying to make ends meet like the rest of us.
I should of got a HP! I just went to NC420 page to get this link and he is sold out. You see him bring this back guys, get it! its a winner. 8)

Really good deal for the money. Smoked nicely and great smell. The trim job is not real tight but good. Buds a little dry, no shake/popcorn, and really nice sized.
I would buy this again!

This was really, really great. I actually cleaned out my pipe when I saw it so I wouldn't contaminate smoking this heaven. Huge smell of pine/fuel and such a wonderful high. If I smoked a little I could work energetically around the house - then smoke a few more I would be in my Lebowski mode. Frosty, Dank buds you could put on some magazine cover lol. I loved it!

That 3/5 review is me, sat here and spammed for a bit to come on here and give my bit. I've been on the road for about 7 months now, have bought weed from farmer1, tweetb, bayareabudz, humboldtsfinest, ogbryan, and another smaller vendor named kindbud, and all of those buds, I was satisfied with. Some were better than others, but I always felt like I got my money's worth.
This green crack I wasn't so satisfied with. I honestly feel like I must have mistakenly gotten another strain if this is really the green crack everyone here is talking about. And yes, unfortunately there were a bunch of fibers and some hairs in the bag. Maybe I am a bit picky with my smoke, but fibers in the bud is where anyone should draw the line. Somebody else had to have gotten some with theirs too. I'm only speaking the truth, I have no reason to lie. I'm using the review system to voice my experience with the vendor and their product. All I want is good weed at a decent price, and I didn't find it here. If I had seen this first, there is no way I would've bought it.
I'm probably just going to start spending more on my qp's because I can see now there really is no such thing as top shelf for this cheap on the road. The saying "you get what you pay for" couldn't apply more to this site.
And to whoever said I'm probably "just some punk who's used to buying dry weed", some of the stems on these buds still bent, not snapped. Yea I prefer my weed on the drier side, but as long as the stems snap and it's cured right, I have no problem with it.

I got all the carpet fibers and hairs off as soon as I noticed there was more than one in the bag... Not sure how to scrub pictures for metadata and all that. I know there's an onion site where you can upload them anonymously but I don't know how to clean the pictures. If anyone can post a picture for me, I can verify whether or not it's the same shit. It really can't be, or everyone else just does not give a fuck what quality they get.

Sorry NC420HU wish I would have thought about messaging you first, to make it right, but I figured since I already FE'd there was nothing I could do. I am being 100% honest. I don't like bad mouthing people either, but I was really almost offended on a personal level upon receiving this. It was definitely from you, 4 ounces of bud in a bag labeled "4 oz gc". I had no other pending orders at the time, and that was shipped to a friend's house who has never ordered from SR and was only going to be receiving this one package. Maybe I'd give you another try if we could work something out and I saw pictures of your new stuff. I saw a picture of your bubba kush from somebody on the forums, and it looked incredible. That was the quality I was expecting to receive, seeing as it was priced the same as the bubba.
I trusted in you enough to FE the second you put it in transit for me. I just feel like I got the raw end of the deal here.

I had the green crack too..while it may not have been top-shelf it was still pretty dank for the price. Wasn't dried/cured all the way but otherwise a nice smoke. The Bubba Kush and UK Kush were better imo, but my friends still enjoyed the green crack. NC420 has always been very professional in our dealings and I would not hesitate to recommend him.

I'm selling his bud for $325 on the ounce, and it's been 10/10 every time I've ordered NorCal's indoor. I've never experience contaminants in my bags... and I have ordered from all of the vendors you have, times your total transaction history in your 7 months here, and I will tell you... contaminants happen! I agree this bud is pretty different, but for my people this was definitely in a good way. Smell was loud. Shit was SO hairy, like a red-orange forest on the surface of each bud. I've had many compliments on how pretty the buds are. I liked a mix of medium and popcorn nugs too, as some people still only want grams even though I offer $50 eighths. To each their own. We'll keep NorCal to ourselves; no harm felt. Like Festivalia said, contaminants happen, and I highly doubt it was anywhere near as bad as you are saying coming from him. I am 100% certain, however, that if you'd contacted NorCal with your issue, he would have gladly been able to accommodate you to the best of his ability. You just plain didn't try to work it out.

QP for $1200. Again, im not a teenager anymore with all the spots info, but its expensive here. So is rent, taxes, food, and everything else! haha so if i met you and you were selling oz in manhattan for 3 and a quarter, i would of been your best customer!
I deliver to all of my clients and I think they didn't believe me when I said I would be offering it. Still $20g/50/100 and nobody can even come close to the quality. $100 an eighth is just robbery. I couldn't imagine my profits if I were willing to rip people off that bad and they were dumb enough to pay that much for it. What a shame. I feel bad giving close friends OZs for $200 :o and they think it's a godsend.

Guys, the only reason I left the 3/5 is because there were fucking HUNDREDS OF CARPET FIBERS ON THE BUDS. I don't care if no one believes me because that's what I got. Yea I'm picky with my smoke, but I think I even said on the main site in my review that I would have left a 5/5 if it weren't for all the fibers.
Maybe somebody else bags up for him, and they dropped my weed all over the floor and just didn't care. I'll give him the benefit of the doubt and say that he didn't mean for that to happen. Nobody would. But if your quality control is good enough, there's no reason why that should happen.
If I receive another order from someone that I am not satisfied with, next time I'll make sure I contact them first. I've honestly never been dissatisfied with an order though, so forgive me for not knowing the proper etiquette. I thought that's what the review system was for. I just received my first order (QP) from norcal420hookup and im really enjoying his indoor headband 8). Its fruity pungently sweet odor will only smack ya in the face once you have gotten past his extensive packing barriers, but it will getcha! Very nice size buds and i was his 2ed to last QP. It has a very fruity, resiny, mouth coating flavor. The buds have a dusting of trichs and are very malleable to the touch. 113g QP im very happy with this purchase and will continue to donate to norcal420hookup.

Lol no, there were a bunch of polyester-like fibers in the qp. There was actually only a few red ones, and only a few hairs, but there were a bunch of the white fibers. I know a lot more about weed then you guys probably think, I'm not an idiot.
Haven't been on the forums for a couple weeks, and I've since cooled down about it, because I know for a fact no vendor would have meant for this to happen and potentially discourage the customer from buying again. I know it wasn't your fault, NC, I know you didn't cover the buds with fibers. But something happened on your end (or even the growers end) that ended up with me pulling these things off of the buds for over an hour. I'm honestly thinking whoever was bagging up for you dropped most of my order and the floor, and was just like, "shit!" and picked it all up quickly without trying to clean the buds.
I will admit that I tried some of the green crack and it did get me high, could've just used a longer cure. I ended up just basically giving it away to recoup my losses.
Everyone buying off of NC420HU, keep doing what you're doing, because obviously he's an honest vendor with many happy customers. I just got unlucky with my order. Again I do not blame it on you directly NC, and I'm honestly sorry for putting the review up without talking to you first. I'm just not familiar with what to do in that situation, because I've never wanted to complain about an order I received. I figured my review would be the place to do that.

Good observation, but if you thought about it a little more you would have realized that NC wouldn't have even let me order again after the first one. So that CAN'T be me. I wasn't trying to attack the dude, I'm not out to ruin his business, I'm not a scammer. I'm just a pothead looking for top shelf smoke.
Ask any of the vendors that I mentioned I ordered from before in one of my previous posts in this thread. No really, if you feel so strongly that I left that review for reasons other than the fact I wasn't satisfied, then fucking message and ask them yourself what kind of orders I've made with them and what kind of feedback they got from me. Add lucymcgee to that list too, as I just grabbed some berry royale and wax from her last week.
I already apologized to NC for what I did, said publicly that I highly doubt it was his fault, and even encouraged others to keep buying from him because I probably just had an unlucky first experience with him. And I will say that nobody else even really had a problem with the bud. I'm just a fucking low down dirty pot snob. All this scrutiny on me can stop now.

The two ounces I got from NC went out the door in 24 hours. I think his weed is very good for resale, I think sometimes people who are trying to find the best weed possible get mixed in with people who have a high standard pass fail test for personal use and mostly resale and confusion ensues. If that makes sense. What I am saying is NC's weed that came to me was beyond great, better than my buddy who grows very good hydro buds. I suppose if someone sampled all the top sellers on SR they would have criticism that 95% of buyers, even buyers who know great pot, would not have. Make sense? To clarify the weed I got was from 2 moths ago. I sold one ounce for $400. A half for $200, and a the rest $60 bags. My friends are weed snobs as well but we live in a midwest state a solid day drive from a medicinal state. they loved the weed. One thing I noticed is how smooth the smoke was, far smoother than my buddy who harvests, dries for a week, and sells his harvest off right away. I could really tell the cure was good. The bag appeal was A+. Price was great. Whole experience was very very good. ;D

I got my HP of bubba Friday and it was so dank. Smell isn't very strong for a single nug but the baggie reeks something delicious like a good kush should. Very earthy, pine-sol smell. Stealth was A+. Each package had a quarter pound. The nugs are dense as rocks, maybe from the vacuum packing to get a quarter pound into a small priority box. No problem though because they break apart fine and are NOT compressed at all. Mostly popcorn sized .5-2g like a lot of kushes. Frosty, and tons of firey red hairs. The smoke is very smooth and the taste is amazing, like diesel fuel. It stones me the fuck out too, very strong body buzz and great medicinal value here.
I have another HP on the way from him which I'll expect within a few days. It's the first order of this volume (LB) that I finalized early and I was hesitant at first, but so glad I pulled the trigger. Thank you NC420

Some packages get dropped close to the local USPS Hub, these packages get to you sooner. Some packages get dropped farther away from the local USPS Hub, these packages take longer to get to you. I don't play favorites with which packages get dropped where, so if your 1 of those people who are unwilling or unable to wait patiently I'm not the vendor for you.
I'm getting tried of seeing the feedback of "it took longer than usual". I will continue to use caution and do my package drops the way I have been doing it lately, so it will not be unusual for a package to get to you a day or 2 later than you might think. Therefore there shouldn't be any more feedback about "it taking longer than usual".
I'm hoping to restock tomorrow, but I get guarantee it.

I recently had to go to resolution with a buyer called "BaltimoreSam". SR Support sided with me and I guess the buyer took it personally and left a very negative review (1 out of 5). The buyer claimed to not have received his order of 1oz of TRIM/Shake. Considering the other orders shipped the same day from the same location, made it just fine, I reasonably assumed the problem (if there was one) was on his end not mine. I offered to give a discount on his next order, but he decided to go to resolution and lost. Some people just can't be helped.

I will be scaling back my listings for the next few months (till my next harvest). Currently I can make as much selling an LB (indoor) locally as I can on Silk Road. That being said why would I take on the extra work and RISK for no extra profit? I will still be listing some outdoor from time to time, but will mostly be focusing selling smaller amounts (less than a QP). When the local market drops in price (after the outdoor harvest) I'll work on getting more Indoor back on the menu (in bulk).

Many of us hope you'll stick around on SR, even if it's smaller quantities. I've gone through too many vendors that quickly go from stellar to unreliable, non-communicative, or outright thievery. Finding consistency in both product and service is not easy.

I'm not going anywhere, just reconfiguring my business model to suit current market conditions. I will still be offering bulk (from my own harvest 4-5 times yearly), but the rest of the time I'll be focusing on listings of 2oz or less. If I'm able to again get LB's locally @ a better price I'll start offering QP's again. The only alternative is to raise prices to around 1000/QP, with no discount option. Since there are other vendors offering lower prices than what I would have to charge, I didn't think it would be viable. If I'm wrong let me know, and I'll restock asap.

starting with the next resupply I'll be offering a Private bulk (QP) listing. It will be a stealth listing, so you'll need to message me for the direct link. It will be higher priced than the old discounted listing, it will still require FE, and you'll need to have bought bulk from me before to get the link. It will be the only bulk listing I'll be offering after the next resupply. This is what is necessary for me to still offer bulk services, at this time.

I've decided instead of having a private stealth bulk listing i would just adjust the price on the discounted public listing.
It blue crack is some of the strongest smelling stuff I've had in a while, very strong sativa high.

Hi This is the Drunken Afficianado.
I tried to update my FE'd rating but don't know how. So I hope this is ok for now until I figure out what to do.
I received my package today: the outdoor Mr. Nice QP w/ FE.
I ordered super-late Thursday, and they made an effort to get it out Friday. I smoked my last at
9:30 AM Monday and began to jones, and some new came in the mail-- SO THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THE EXTRA EFFORT!!!!
If it is the outdoor Mr. Nice, I am very happy with it.
I watched PBS Frontline on Howard Marks in the early 90's with a good friend getting high as goats, and we watched the documentary detailing his problems culminating with the phrase:
"I'm afraid your doggie's sick." So if it IS Mr. Nice, Fuck yeah.... 8)
First it is excellently shipped, and it was important because the box got quashed and the box ripped, but the shipping was stealth so it was OKAY! Fuck yeah. ;)
Smoke report: I would describe this as very excellently cured, no matter what the quality of the base weed. The weed is very dark green and has the classic lemony-piney scent of the pre-Diesel Space Queen sativas.
Personally, I like the outdoor grows because I feel the bud is more mature and more complex having seen sun and soil and wind and rain. The smoke is very smooth due to the fine cure and a good flush of nutes, reducing to a fine ash. It was not harsh and I did not cough. Very nice.
The high is what I would call a clean, sativa head high that comes on after a decent body high, or vice versa.
If you take three good hits, the total is more than the sum of its parts. This smoke was tested while listening to Maynard Ferguson's "The Blues Roar". I'm high the way I want to be, if that is clear enough.
I would say that in general, that with the auto-flowering strains hitting the seed market in the last 5 years, along with clone degradation, that there has been a general decline in potency IMO. So I have gotten some awesome bag appeal weed, grown with care, that was not the greatest complexity or strength.<NOT FROM THIS VENDOR, from others.>
Meanwhile, established boutique genetics like Mr Nice seem to have benefited from a kind of quarantine from the degradation. But it may just be that it was grown outdoors to a mature plant, which doesn't happen much anymore indoors.
Sativas require a full veg period in my opinion and a long flower. So this is a very , very nice QP which won't be sold. It's medicine now.

I have to say I could not be more disappointed with the bud i received from NorCal420Hookup-
I got a QP of the mixed bag and honestly when i opened the bag i thought my order was mixed up with one for trim and shake because i got almost no buds that weighed over .5 grams. I paid over 1,000 bucks for a bunch of shake and when i messaged him about it he just referenced his vendor page which says no refunds no matter what.
seriously what a dick, i guess that means he can just send out shit product with no recourse
and BTW what reputable weed dealer doesn't use MBB??? Not impressed by his stealth AT ALL, honestly id be a bit concerned if i ever ordered from him again (obviously i won't be) because the visual barrier wasn't very adequate, easily could be disrupted during shipping, and he used crappy food saver vacuum bags.
The bud is 100% not top shelf either, the few buds that i did get were decent, but not worth 1000+ for a qp

I will address the previous review point by point:
1. Everyone else seems to know what "Mixed Bag" means, but since you didn't know (and didn't bother to ask before ordering) I'll put it in the clearest terms I can. "Mixed Bag" is many strains mixed together in 1 bag. This is always small to medium sized buds, never big buds. Reason being the mixed bag is made up of bags that didn't add up to an LB. Local (cash in hand) buyers only want LB's so most growers have a bag of less than a LB left over. I buy these less than an LB bag's and mix them into 1 bag.
2. You paid the price you choose to pay, I offer a discounted version of the QP listing. You choose to order the more expensive version of that listing. Anyone with any buying experience would have messaged me before ordering, considering you haven't ordered from me before or ordered the "mixed bag" listing before. You made a lot of assumptions when you could have just asked and I would have told you about the small buds.
3. There are many reasons I chose not to use MBB. The visual barrier I use is not "easily disrupted", you would have to use a cutting tool to break the barrier. It is possible that a package could get caught in a machine and ripped open, but a MBB wouldn't be any more effective than what I use in that situation. I do still use food saver bags, but I am currently researching other options. In the mean time I use 3x bags for each order everyone who has reviewed my stealth has said that no odor was noticeable until the final layer was opened.
4. The Quality is on the level I always have, only exception being my Personal Harvest which is the Best. Since no else has said anything about my quality, I'll take your option with a grain of salt.
5. In conclusion I think you need to do your due diligence before ordering from vendors you haven't worked with before.

I didn't realize mixed bag meant shake and tiny nugs, maybe you should have put that in the listing instead of misrepresenting it as "top shelf indoor organic", because that is not what you would find on the top shelf of any dispensary. Your explanation doesn't make sense either, just because it isn't a full elbow doesn't mean it should be small nugs.
Don't berate my choice of using ESCROW, like every person should, so people like you can't get away with doing whatever you want, maybe shipping out my 1,000+ worth of buds or maybe not.
I said the quality was decent, not sure what you normally have, but that's not top shelf, any of it.
I do need to do a better job at researching vendors, hopefully others wont make that same mistake and will read my honest review and never order from you.

you keep saying shake, but it's just tiny buds. Each strain in the mixed bag is the same quality as what I usually have listed, because it's from the same growers I usually get my LB's from. As to why it's never big buds, the big buds end up in the growers personal stash or in the LB's for sale. What's left is the medium, small, and tiny buds. "Top Shelf" doesn't mean the absolute best, the best of the best ends up in a shop or is priced at a premium on the open market. I offer the best buds Available to me at the time, for the price that works for both me and my customers. You are part of the 1% customers who can't be pleased, the other 99% of my customers are very satisfied.
