"There's many a man has more hair than wit."
- William Shakespeare
There is a fine line between safety and unhealthy paranoid. Perhaps due to the lack of sleep, excessive amounts of amphetamines or simply my general distrust of all things pork, I tend to err on the side of unhealthy paranoia. I don't know which category this falls under, but if you have a lot of hair and/or happen to shed, you may want to consider wearing a hat or hair net when packing.
Back before Keasy stole from a bunch of people, he sent me a package that contained (aside from a criminal substance of my choosing) a bunch of hair. This package, covered in half a roll of scotch tape, had more hair than my great-uncle Zeke. Not only could this hair have be incriminating had the package been picked up by LE, but it was pretty damn gross as well.
Look at it this way: Say you are a well-to-do seller here on this silken road and have 100+ transactions under your belt. It is quite possible that a package of yours has been or will at some point be intercepted by the dreaded pig. Perhaps that package of yours contained 7g of heroin, bringing with it a felony charge of interstate distribution to whomever is successfully tied to it. Now, if said pig found a wad of your hair in said package, it wouldn't be enough evidence to prove anything. However it certainly would put you on the radar if you happen to have your DNA on file and a history of drug charges. I know this might be a stretch, but if I were a seller (which I'm not) I certainly wouldn't want my hair attached to any felonies.
Perhaps paranoia is clouding my logic, but there is no such thing as "too safe" in my book.

this is why H vendors who are seething addicts simply don't take care in what they're doing.
this isn't the street. this is the silk road. tread carefully, you hairy bastards lmao

This is especially important for cannabis vendors. Buds are very sticky and will pull hair to them just by having them touch your forearm or any other body part with hair.

Yeah good advice Fred but can't they get dna from just about anything? Or would they need to be able to see it?

I'd imagine that it would be possible to get DNA from blood, saliva, dead skin cells or hair. Ideally you wouldn't want anything containing your DNA to get on or in the package. As long as you aren't bleeding, drooling or shedding into your package I wouldn't imagine it being that difficult to keep your DNA out. It was also mentioned in another thread that you should wear two pairs of gloves when packing. Sounds like a good idea to me.
I'm not saying that wearing a hair net will protect you from all possible risk. I just figured that leaving your hair in a package full of drugs probably isn't the best idea.

pfft. Just dress like the gimp and package at the picnic table in your backyard. Nobody will look twice (just keep the muttering to a minimum).

If they do just pick up and point to the box you are packaging and loudly ask if they would like to meet your fiance.
