On many forums there is a reputation system by which forum members can devote reputation points to other users when they appreciate the content of their posts. There is sometimes a minimum post requirement to earn the ability to give reputation points. This helps distinguish which members of the forum community are contributing posts that others feel are worthwhile and also provides a feedback system by which users (to some extent) may judge the credibility of the poster. ;D

cool idea. I have been waiting for SR_Seller_Accounts to give me a -1 right out in the open
(I troll when I love)

This would be pretty nifty. +1

I think this is an excellent suggestion and one with real merit.
It would give persons who are newbies to drug forums in general some method of evaluating the information they read. And I think that anything that helps a newbie become a good buyer (or even a good seller later on) is good for the community at large.
The forums I read when I was first online had this type of system and it allowed me to quickly get a workable methodology for reading the posts. We old hands should remember that the amount and variety of information on one of these forums is pretty daunting for the newcomer. :)

+1 rep points for Freeman for posting the idea
+1 rep points for Kind Bud just for amusing me! :P

Thanks! I'm trying to be active in the forums. I like the SR community and have actually been posting since the "old days" on the forums that are now archived. I slowed down for a couple of months but I'm back. :-)

Thanks for adding the Karma system. Just let it be known that I pitched this idea and I have 0 +/- karma at the moment. WTF? :D
-
Great job implementing the Karma system, but I feel it's missing a key component. Somewhere on your profile you it should show who left you good/bad karma, and for what post.

I like that I got to go back and give + rep to all the people that liked my idea or said (+1) to this thread. :D

A plus 1 for that Thorough Quote. Love it. What way of hacking at the roots he had.
Another if you follow me over to this other thread where i am arguing(at least i think its me) with a couple of lawyers or cops or judges or something who I am trying to get the difference between natural law and the scheming and arbitrary laws of man through to, that law of man that routinely ignores the rights inalienable from us as a postulate of our humanity as recognized by acting man in examining his position in nature.
Just kidding about the layer, cop judge thing, though they are suspiciously well versed in the unjust law of man and it's deliberate confusing nature.
_1 for cross posting rant.....
Actually, this karma system lends itself to personal attacks that would be unjustified and misrepresentation in some cases. Your talking to a guy who can blow through a whole lot of points in a hurry. Simply insist something everyone believes is true...isn't, such as speaking truth to power, and even hard evidence of your correctness later on isn't going to be properly explained to someone who just hit the door and what a shitbag you must be in his eyes now. Like the defending someone/bashing them wars going on. I saw a lot of points flying around in that. Are they still? I just got here.......
