I would avoid it. There are other, reputable vendors on SR.

Scammer

100% agreed.  Read his seller page and it's an obvious scam.  It's time that people here on SR started to familiarize themselves with the signs of a scam.  It's highly likely that a lot of the scamming going on at the SR marketplace is being done in different items by the same small group of people.  If they fail to get out of escrow orders, they will soon wither and die and SR will be a better place for it.

SR built a really good system to protect the buyer and the seller.  Use all its protections unless and until you have a real and meaningful relationship with the seller.  One successful order, not matter how good the product or packing or how friendly the seller, does not make a relationship any more than one night of good sex makes it anything more than a good one night stand. :)

hey everyone!
i tried to place a order but was asked to send a direct BTC payment. I even offered more BTCs if he were to use SR escrow and he said that he does not have the luxury of using escrow. Also said that product was $20 per bag but in PM he told me to send 10BTCs for 10 bags? Im gona try it to see whats up but it feels like a scam. He even did the take away in the PM by telling me to find another dealer if I didnt want to play by his rules.

Hey rx
even I might be a wrong person to say..why on earth you want to go outside escrow, esp with all posting here that its obvious scam?

ps
You have said that you pay 14$ for MMT daily. For how much dosage? Can you tell me more by pm?

There are several other threads about this d bag. Feedback is fake and he's either a scammer or a cop. To me, skirting the escrow system is not only sketchy but kinda like giving SR the finger. Stay away folks. Transactions with this guy can only end badly. Hopefully he will be banned before long.

He gave me the same story about the escrow. I wanted to buy his BurningMan Tickets. Supposedly he sold 1 to a user named HappyTrails. Im not going to trust this without proof. He said he wants 109BTC sent directly for all 10 tickets but the lowest he can go on 1 is 50BTC. Thats a HUUUUUUUGE price cut. Sorta unbelievable actually. Maybe he'll show up here & vouch for himself. Until then and even if he does Im gonna say "AVOID" until further research is conducted. Or we can all donate .01BTC until theres enough to place a test order through him. LoL....

i ordered from him monday.  sent funds to his username via silk road.  he ceased all communication after that.  he claims he sent the package, and he will get back to me with tracking number.   he tells me he is in the same city as me so if he sent a package i would have it by now.  this dude is a scammer.  do not buy from him.  i am requesting a refund.

Hey FF,  I'm a little confused.  I *know* you're on here reading the posts on the forum.  And you're not brand new. So, I have to ask: what was it that made you decide to send him BTC out of escrow?  His scammer-type behavior has been discussed on the forums for days now.  :P

I'm not trying to be disrespectful...I just honestly don't get it.  Is it an 800 lb gorilla on your back or ?????  I'd really like to know. :)
Might help all here who are trying to stop scammers get an insight so we can adjust our methodology...

Come on, please guys... do not buy out of escrow!!! There is no reason to do this. If you are a legit seller you can wait for the money. Once you have a good reputation maybe then people can release funds early. No matter how enticing the products are DO NOT BUY OUT OF ESCROW! You will get burned!

I don't understand why anyone would purchase outside of escrow. With hedging, there doesn't seem to be a legit reason not to. Its basically a free pass for the seller to screw the buyer. Honestly, it would be nice to see vendors  going outside of SR to just get banned immediately.  My .02 cents...
