Title: Sort by Number of Transactions

Sort by Number of Transactions

I am a little annoyed that GreenCo has over 180 transactions but is on page 2 of the weed listing. They have like a 99.998% and the 4/5s they got are

1 "Perfect"
2 "Leave feedback here"

If people are sorting to find good sellers it seems there should be a way to find GreenCo with over 180  5/5 ratings
instead there are pages of people with 10 transactions (some of which seem pretty fake)

This would also help with the shill review problem.

edit: numbers corrected

I did find it slightly odd that I am before you. Was thinking to myself it would be kinda cool to have featured sellers.. people who have been proven by over 100 transactions.
Not saying I mind being on the first page mind you ;) I do work my hardest to keep my customers happy as I know GreenCo does. (Makes it feel more insignificant being second seller when I am behind someone I have never heard of and before all the guys I know are golden)

Peace,

I completely agree. Number of transactions should incur far more weight than SR presently allots.

With the current system, 1 pissy buyer can put a 100+ transaction seller trusted since week 1, like Greenco, behind a Gawker-rush seller  (like myself) who is just lucky enough to not have run into one of those impossible to please customers.  It is very misleading and should be addressed asap.

(P.S.) it scares the shit out of me to see some of my listings so listed so high. I definitely do not deserve this kind of attention. Stay away LE! I'm chump change.

I do like the idea that new sellers can get top billing, It fosters competition and lets them get established. I do think customers might also be looking for an operation like GreenSo. Sort by feedback and sort by number of transactions seems like a nice options, both new and old get noticed. <semi stole from another GreenCo>

Let me be the first to acknowledge that GreenCo is not perfect. During the MtGox and Silk Road crashes GreenCo was totally late and even told people incorrect information (packaging was still on 24 hour shipping, I knew better). What I will say about GreenCo is that they(us) try hard, are decently honest, and are willing to do whatever they can to fix any issue.  Really we are all just people, though most the GreenCo fools will give you a kidney before getting a 4/5.

I think featured seller is awesome, but I think it should focus on new sellers. I thought about having it another bid for spot, to as an alternative way to fund they site, but I think it would be fun if  top buyers picked a promising new seller .every month.

For GreenCo : What about a star or something next to your name if you are in the top 1% of sellers?

Maybe, had you not alienated buyers with your vitriol previously when questioned about your high prices, buyers would not have given you bad feedback that popped you off the front cannabis listings page ... karma can be a mother fucker. I am not stating that is the case here, however its certainly a possibility and something to think about when posting with alt screen names in defense of yourself and/or your huge "cartel". Contrary to popular opinion, buyers have brains and use them frequently.

Maybe you have been targeted by a competitor who spent a few bucks to knock you out of the front page.

Maybe you just fucked up and do not want to admit it. After all you are not perfect by your own admission.

Maybe you just need to chill, let the system work as it was designed, and EARN your way back to the top instead of trying to change the system to give you more visibility and credibility. I have seen multiple posts with you and your alts whining about feedback not being 5/5. Come on man ... its getting old.

Now you are realizing the power and importance of the buyer here at silk road, and since it makes you look less than stellar, you want SR to change the system to make you look more visible and credible.

You certainly did not have a problem with the current system when you were top dog on the front page before you got negative feedback. More irony there.

That said, you do not deserve to be placed higher than someone who has no sub 5 feedback regardless of sales volume.

Sales volume may mean a lot to YOU, but to the people that matter it does not mean squat. Those people are the buyers in case you were wondering.

A buyer wants to know who is good, bad, or mediocre ... consistently or sporadically, so the feedback system is working as designed. To give the buyer the tools necessary to help develop informed purchasing decisions.

Just because you screwed up in a buyers eyes does not mean silk road needs to recode the system to give you more sales.

What you are saying is that you are more important than other sellers... which is ludicrous.

You ain't "all that and a bag of chips". Us sellers are a dime  a dozen. It's our buyers who hold importance, else all we got is a bag of stuff with no buyers.

Very sorry if I was rude in anyway, but GreenCo  service is pretty awesome. Over 200 transactions and two 4/5 (from the paypal mtgox black friday days) is one of the best (if not the very best) records on Silk Road.

As I remember my "vitriol", it was not about the rating but about the lack of feedback about how to improve. One was left completely blank and the other said "perfect."

I like to think their karma is very good, do you disagree?

GreenCo is at "100%" but still on page 2 after several listings with less than 10% of their sales volume.  Like I said, i want people to sort by absolute rating to help out new guys, but also want an alternative so customer can find most experienced buyers if they want. Win -win
