Well, if it's indeed from a gold partner, then it means it's legit, so when M$ decides to stop updates for pirated serial # (again), it will keep working. That may be worth paying for, though for 3 BTC you may as well just get it from M$ and be assured it's 100% legal.

I have 6 (legit) of these and was considering selling them on here.  But thought it would be too easy for the buyer to scam me.  All he has to do is get the serial, activate windows, then claim it didn't work.  No way for me to prove that he activated it successfully.

You still get all updates, I've had it for over a year with no problems or continuous patching.
