Title: Resolution questions
Post by: colorblack on June 20, 2013, 05:07 am
Guys, please refresh my memory. How long before a buyer can start the resolution process with SR?
Also, are copies of PM's between the buyer/vendor automatically read by Staff so they understand the exact situation? Or do the buyer/vendor supply them?
Finally, does each side get to give a little "writeup" on the situation (essentially, "their side")?

As you can tell I'm in the middle of "The Transaction from Hell" from a Top 10% vendor. Ugh.

12 days I believe. you can hover your mouse over the resolve button an it'll tell you the current amount of days left ;)

the messages between user /vendor are viewable by staff.

the last part have no idea.

The only thing that SR Admins will consider apparently is your proposed solutions/extensions, and what you write as extra information about the situation, like if you were requesting a full refund that the vendor might contest and want to be perfectly clear. If something was said during an exchange via PM that you want the admins to know about, you should mention it/quote it. Including, for instance, if a vendor has ignored/not read your messages about a problem.
