Just logged out automatically, won't let me sign in.

Hey mate, mine auto-log'd me off as well...
It did let me sign back in with no problems though.
Might be because of the new security being implemented for the DoS attacks.

It's a glitch but should be resolved soon. The admins are aware of it.

same here, keep getting auto-logged out of SR, thought someone was trying to hack into my account.

Keeps happening to me too and I noticed that a couple of times the "captchas" were just 3 digits instead of the 4-5 letters + 3 digits...kinda sketched me out.

No need to worry - not sure if any of you remember, but awhile back the same thing was happening. It didn't mean anything sketchy, it was just a weird glitch that kept logging people out and giving them a 3-character captcha. Nothing to worry about though - DPR was able to fix it then so I'm sure he'll be able to fix it this time as well. Still not completely out of the woods yet with the attacks, so this issue may persist for a bit, but if it is still happening in a day or two, I'm supposed to let DPR know.

Yep. It keeps happening. Just refresh the login page, and you'll get the right captcha. I'd take the auto logout over the DOS any day...no problem being patient here.

same here....after I logged in realized what I had done...gave my password to -maybe- something fishy.
Changed my password and it happened again...that freaked me out LOL

Me too. Once just now, twice yesterday.
But after all the downtime, having to re-login is a small price to pay :)

Same happening to me, SR must be a little battle scarred I am sure DPR will patch her up soon, at least its running nice and fast, long live the road!!

Just letting SCOUT know it happen a few times last night, and when i was writing a msg and hit send this AM east-cost @ 7:40 AM..

I am getting kicked out every time I try and click "Place Order"
Its happened every time for the previous 8 times, Ive given up now :(

I can smell the negative karma coming .. but.. is it THAT bad?
If it auto-logs you out if you're IDLING (I'm not talking about during order. THAT isnt good).. but if it autologs you out if you're idle for X amount of minutes and just sucking up bandwidth.. maybe that's not so bad of a security feature?
The site HAS been blazingly fast the last few days (touch wood). If my purpose is to login, browse around, then forget I'm logged in and get immersed in conversing with you geniuses on the forums.. I personally don't mind if the my SR tab logs out. That's just me though..

It happens regardless of idle time. I have been kicked several seconds after logging in. Several times. It's a bug, and I guess it will be fixed soon. Patience is a virtue. :)

It's already much better. Perhaps even already fixed.
