Title: Any reliable vendor want an iPhone 4
Post by: Thetruthseeker1234 on September 25, 2013, 05:42 am
I just purchased an iPhone 4 from my shady pawn shop owning friend. This device was clearly stolen and I have no use for it.
The phone is flawless and works perfectly and has the newest software on it. Only physical problem is a hairline crack that is on the screen next to the home button.
The real problem is that this phone was just newly taken. The verizon service is still active on the phone. I actually used it to make a few calls and it worked fine. Clearly this will be canceled soon, but for now there is a way to make 100% anonymous calls.
This phone will fetch a few hundred dollars on eBay once the service disappears, as a bad esn phone.
I would rather have coins then cash so here is what I am asking.

We make a deal, I send you the phone, you send me a small amount of BTC. Much less than the actual value of the phone so you can make good money.
Anyone interested? My stats are perfect on the road. Very old account, with lots spent. Perfect rating

Sorry to be "That prick" but
a.  Silkroad makes it clear they won't facilitate the trading of stolen goods
b. It's also outlined in the rules that members may not sell goods without a vendor's account/outside escrow

Fiveotwo is correct.  You cannot sell anything here with a vendor account, and the redistribution of stolen goods is prohibited as well.  Please see our seller guide on the main site or our wiki page for more information. dkn255hz262ypmii.onion/wiki/index.php?title=Main_Page

This will be your only warning.

Just as a point, your saying you cannot sell anything here without a vendor account. I was asking to make a transaction so I could get bitcoins to purchase items on the site. On the site there is a whole money section where a person can buy bitcoins. Asking for a vendor to facilitate a trade between an item and bitcoins is the same as asking a vendor to sell bitcoins. Reason being in both of those situations the road gets no cut. When a user buys bitcoins with Western union via the money section on the road no cut from those transactions go to the road. DPR has said that people who exchange for coins have different rules.
I understand that stolen items are not allowed so this is not here nor there. Just making a point.

As a side note cirrus, a few months back I had discussed selling organs on the road. Something that should be allowed because a person can do whatever they want with there body. You messaged DPR about it and so did I. I never received a response and I assume this is because this question was right around one of the times where there was some extended down time and issues with the road, so he was to busy to see it.
Did he ever message you back about this?

You talk about a "trade of coins for the phone"... tell me how that is different than selling it? It's the same thing. People trade BTC for drugs here.

Also consider what you're selling, you're selling a BROKEN, stolen, VERIZON phone. If it was GSM, someone may consider you seriously. On here you have a $50 phone, tops.. and that's with shipping included.

And no, I'm not a buyer. Sell it on CL or eBay, good luck.
