Title: Silk Road Forum Problums
Post by: Winky Doodle on September 21, 2013, 12:52 am
Anyone know what's with the new links for the SR marketplace? And why I can't log in and it just says invalid log-in or goes to unconnected page

I've been trying to get onto SR and finalize and review my order but it's been down for .a couple days nows

Nvm figured out what it was. People are changing the SR links on hidden wiki to phishing scams.

Umm, I don't know anything about new links for the marketplace. If you aren't on http://silkroadvb5piz3r.onion/, then you are probably on a phishing site.

I think you made a mistake, the link you just posted is the phishing site, NOT the real site.

I'm the only one that posted a link, so I guess you are talking to me? Not a chance my link is the phishing site, unless of course you also have the phishing site posted in your signature as your vendor url. ;)

No, there is a small difference between our links, look closer. Yours is the phising link.

So, did you work hard to become this retarded and immature or was it just natural, a genetic thing? :)

Something a scammer would say.

Oh and you do realize there is no different between the link that was posted and the link in your URL, neither is the phishing link, both are correct.

People memorize the address! Don't copy links

It's not too hard - this helped me:

visual basic 5,

Why save a link, the whole reason is to stay anonymous right? What if police busted down your door and took your computer and had a warrant and they found drugs and a link to SR saved you'd be fucked. I didn't know Hidden Wiki users could change the Commercial services links.

Where do you save your TBB then?

What's TTB?

I don't save any shit, I just keep my Tor Bundle updates and use the links off Hidden Wiki, and SR was the only link I ever went to. I browsed SR for a few months then didn't buy anything, must of visited it like 30-40 times, then returned just now and been browsing for 3-4 weeks and made a purchase, then 2 days go by and the link on Hidden Wiki is changed, so I thought with DPR's backup plan it was something to do with that. I didn't know Hidden Wiki let it's user's just change Commercial Services links, I was using it for months before and that never happened.

TBB = Tor Browser Bundle

Never ever use tje links of the hidden wiki, they were changed for phishing sites all the time.

My point is if your TBB is saved somewhere safe then it is safe to save the SR URL bookmark.

If its just on your computer though then no its not a good idea.

I keep my TTB in Downloads in my Libraries

Why?

If you are so concerned about your anonymity and safety so you don't want to bookmark the SR url why don't you save it on some encrypted media like a usb or SD card? then when your computer is not in use to can remove the evidence. I am well aware there will still be some traces of tor and the storage media but without it they don't have fuck all, sorry I lost it! it broke so I threw it away, whatever they cannot make you produce it, you are only fucked if they find it and you refuse to hand over the encryption key.

True, but I don't think I do enough browsing to go through all those things lol, The only things I've ordered from SR over 1 year is a couple weed cookies and 20mg Ativan

I can't believe I am responding again after reading what you just posed but fuck it, you should def have a triple cypto quantum computer for your SR needs mate, they probably have task force set up just for you!

For anyone else please don't leave your TBB on your computer, it's retarded.
