Hi there guys,

I am suffering the same problem at the moment. Almost 4 hours and 33 confirmations and still nothing. I have contacted support but have not yet received a response.

I didn't want to post this and create an avalanche of fear but this problem seems to be affecting at least 3 of us already. Here's hoping support can resolve this soon.

Regards

guys, im having a different issue, I ordered BTC from my usual site, www.getbitcoins.com.au which ive used 4 times before, Got new address from my SR account, Bought the coins in the time given by the quote, 40 mins later i had 8 confirmations and could see it was sent to MY address... So i figured soon it would show up in my SR account... But NO. I check my blockchain an hour later, it says there is another transaction that transfered my 1.69 BTC (which wasnt available for me to spend yet) to 2 seperate random addresses. What the hell has happened? The guys on getbitcoins.com.au responded very quickly and explained that if im using a desktop wallet (which im not) to check if i had a virus.... If im using a third party wallet (Silk road) to message to admin and ask for an explanation immiediately.... Obiously i haven't gotten an answer... But wtf do i do???? Also i can't make any topic's for some reason....

Same thing for me, I made 1 deposit that went though fine last night, a second only a couple hours later has 29 confirmations and still no show. Was only a small amount, but hope they sort it out soon.

Received this from SR support

We are currently experiencing minor deposit delays - please get back to us in 12 hours if the deposit still has not arrived and we'll track it down.

Sincerest apologies for the inconvenience!

Good news, thanks for sharing. I'm sure everyone's coins will show up soon. The "sent to other addresses" everyone is talking about is probably just the SR Tumbler.

hey all, wished I'd seen this post before depositing again... Just wanted to share my past experiences with you guys. SR will sort your bit coins out, its quite normal to experience these problems when depositing.
Last time it happened there was a whole bunch of us talking in the forums about not getting bitcoins through to SR and there was talk of hackers stealing bitcoins from wallets and SR, forum users swearing that they had personal confirmation from blockchain that SR had been hacked, etc (all of which was complete bollocks).  In the end it came out that it was a simple error on our behalf for not generating new account address for each new deposit on SR and instead using old ones that SR had archived for being old(luckily, if they were deleted the bitcoins would be gone ). SR sorted everyone out within 15 hours. So relax, your bitcoins will arrive at some point.

Glad I found this thread.  First time depositor, been waiting 3 hours or so since transferring from bitbargain....14 confirmations but no show as yet in SR.

Maybe not the place to ask, but can anyone give me quick explanation of what confirmations are?

Thanks

Timing is everything in this game, you dont get it right you lose money. If the value of bitcoin drops $4/5 then i will need to deposit more to make my order, and what if that deposit takes 12 hours to show up?

Also this is delaying delivery, i have to have my product for the w/e otherwise it will be another week till it is sold. :(

Seriously I've got 56 confirmations and have been waiting here for over 7 hours now since I first initiated the transfer.  And one thing the site says is that you may have used an old address which may slow it down, but the site for some reason has been only letting me use a "click here to deposit" link and that same address, so what was I supposed to do?  I have been waiting to sleep for hours...

Just chiming in here.

16 confirmations on the blockchain.info.  Transaction Complete at the other end. No coin here.

From the help pages:

"
Quote
Why isn't my deposit showing up in my account?

It can take up to 6 hours for a deposit to be confirmed on the blockchain, processed, and credited to your Silk Road account. If your deposit still hasn't shown up, first check that it is showing up on the blockchain by searching for your deposit address on a site like blockchain.info. If your transfer doesn't appear here, then it was never sent and you need to find out why from the person or organization who initiated the transfer. If the transfer does appear, then there could be a problem on our end and you should contact us. "

Came here. Read thread. So, "WE" are in Hurry-up and WAIT mode, correct ?

Jeez, This is just like when I go to the grocery store and decide to change checkout lines. Which ever one I choose, shit will happen and my line will take the longest.  ::)

zebishop: Fuck off you twat.  Okay, so they tell people to wait 12 hours, but evidently since I still think that is bullshit I dont know how to read?  On top of that, when the excuse I see is that an old address can cause the delay and when the site itself is forcing me to use the same wallet I used back in March and only after 7 hours of checking it repeatedly after being up for over 24 hours at that point thus leaving me up for 30 hours and unsure if I will get an order processed in time to get to me by saturday or not, as wednesday leaves enough time to ship priority most places.  But no I dont know how to read, you fuckin asshole.

Might as well join the disgruntled rabble in here.
Six hours, forty confirmations and nothing showing for me either.
Kind of a comfort seeing that support message. I changed my address yesterday as I got a message saying my old one had been archived, was starting to believe that may have been the problem, especially as I changed it half a dozen times till I got an address that looked good.   :)

I am having the exact same issue its been 9 hours and 77 confirmations and it has my nerves on edge but im glad that hopefully its just a technical issue im at this point just hoping the money shows up i was rushing around to try and get a certain item but this puts it all in perspective and i just want the money to show up at some point

Don't want to pile on i just want to be in the discussion. I don't know how to look at my confirmations on bitcoinfog but it says no pending withdrawals and my SR wallet has increased by like .05 but my withdrawal was for approx 1.4. Just worrisome that a small percentage have been deposited after about 10 hours but not anymore than that.

You need to make a new account adress for every deposit ? i thought i can just use the same one. last time i got a email that i used a archived adress. so i generated a new one and did 2 transfers but still having same problem too. 42 confirmations and btc still didnt arrive to my account. :(

Don't want to alarm anyone, though there is a transaction going on with my SR BTC address that I did not set up.

I deposited the coin into my account this morning and it has not shown all day, waited twelve hours and contacted support.
I looked at blockchain to try and get the relevant address to pass on to support, when I noticed my coin is being moved from my SR address to a different one??

I simply hope it is support sorting the problem out.

Not too hot on all this BTC/Blockchain stuff, so I could be totally wrong here, though looks pretty straight forward to me.

 ??? ??? ???

That's likely just the SR tumbler, but this issue is getting annoying - 12+ hours and not a word from DPR or even a post from the staff explaining what's up.

Ah right cheers. I think I get you. So the money that shows on my SR account is not necessarily in my SR wallet address?
Not that the coin I put in this morning ever appeared in my SR account yet even though it has 95 confirmations now.
So I need not worry that exact ammount I put in this morning, blockchain shows is being moved to another address, with currently 21 confirmations.

*Edit. I get this tumbling now, sort of. :) +1'd btw.

How are you guys contacting support? When you use the support link on the main SR site and choose to send a message to support, the message gets sent to the account "SR Support", which has not been online for 15 days and my message remains unread... so how do I actually get in touch with support for them to find my bitcoins and fix this issue? My Blockchain info now shows the transaction address as 'spent' rather than 'unspent'....what might that mean?

How many of these problems are after getting a new BTC address?

Yesterday (10 Sept) I used my old address. Coins when through in a couple of hours. Got a warning my address might be archived. Got a new address. Sent some BTC through to it today (11 Sept) and after eight hours... nothing.

Hope someone can help. !st time on SR and buying bitcoins etc. Bought bitcoins, and they were placed in my wallett within an hour. I then did  a small transfer to SR acct, and that came through in 2 hours. So I then transferred the rest, 3 bTCs, they havent shown up yet.

I have done the Blockchain and see my order was sent to SR, but its not in.b my acct, that was 18 hours ago. Also on blockchain there is another transaction using my address but its in red?

Help, I dont know where to go, and I cant afford to lose my 3 BTC's!! :'(

SR support have been online in the last 15 days, its clearly a glitch. The last thing we need is more hysteria and panic, this happens every time there are delays with deposits or withdrawals, just try and relax ok, all will be fine.

This is of course the truth, but stress for many of us here can be pretty much defined as "no money AND no drugs". ;-)
