I sent 14.37 bitcoins to my silkroad wallet address and the blockchain is showing 10 confirmations and they still do not show in my SR account. What is going on?
-
Probably running a bit slow. They always make it so give it some more time
-
no need to worry, if its showing in blockchain with the correct wallet address there should be no problems
-
once they reach the road , after 6 confirmations they get washed with all the rest of the coins, and internet traffic has been high today so it will be a lil slower than usual
-
im at 31 confirmations.. its been a good 5 hours or so.. never taken this long..
-
withdraws seem to also be not working.
-
yes that is very odd, 5 hours, did you double check the address sent to ?
-
I have been moving Coins in and out for the last 17 hours

-

I have sent 3+ withdraws to 3 different address and not one has even appeared on the chain.
-

Don't worry. Sometimes the system just breaks. They always come out the other end.

My coins were sent ~3 hours ago and I'm still waiting. I've heard of this happening several times before so I'm not trippin'. I'll just go to sleep soon and by the time I wake up the odds are they'll be there.
It probably sucks for people who are in a rush to get their gear though.
-
I tried to withdrawl coins about 1h ago and it hasnt shown up in blockchain yet. Not much you can do but wait ;)
And assume that the ratings update that they are rolling out RIGHT now has something to do with it. Should be in your account in a couple few hrs.
-
ok so it looks like coins havent been able to be deposited for over 12 hours now?
WTF!?
-
Mine just now showed up into block chain, I wouldnt worry too much. although i think you keep a deposit address for 12 hrs only on SR? or is that not a feature any more?
-
ive had the same deposit address for weeks.. so im pretty sure it stays the same unless you choose to obtain another receive address
-
still not in my sr account! its been way too long.. wtf
-
This issue is also being discussed in the customer support board,

52 confirmations and 9 hours + for me.
Definitely a first but I'm not panicked. 8)
-
At least one person had reported that their transaction has gone through. Just give it some time and it will be sorted out.
-
i feel just a little better now after waking up an seeing this thread.. sent a good chunk of change last night and it hasnt shown up yet. checked it on the block chain and all looks normal. Coins went into the account and right out like it usually does for the tumbler but just hasn't shown up yet. I'll be here waiting like the rest of you guys!
patience is whats needed 8)

Very real possibility that I lost $200 dollars if this somehow doesn't fix itself.
I was in the middle of moving my coins from Coinbase to Blockchain Wallet w/ TOR and then sent them to SR.
However, shortly after I did this - my power went out.
I lost essentially lost all information on the Wallet, because I hadn't backed anything up and the coins had already been sent to SR successfully.
Given that the coins had already been sent successfully I'm hoping support can still verify the address and the transfer.
I've never had something like this happen, as obviously the power outage was beyond my control.
But considering they got sent to SR, I should be fine. Otherwise the Wallet would be unrecoverable.
Hopeful that things get worked out.
Actually started freaking out for a bit, but managed to calm myself down once I explained the rationale.
I usually back up everything, securely, and encrypted. Unfortunately, with the timing of the power outage this was beyond my control.
None the less, this was a major buzz kill and my morning had been glowing up until this happened.
Guess it's pretty much damage control from here on out, and hope for the best and expect the worst.
My luck has just been awful lately, man it's been such a rough past few days.

I am pleased to hear it Vanquish, as I have said before everyone just needs to take a breath and be patient in situations like this, your coins are not lost or stolen etc, they are just delayed and and everyone will have their issues resolved sooner or later.
