Title: "Resolve" not click-able on my "orders" page . . .
Post by: Kenny457 on August 22, 2013, 12:26 am
. . . and I need to extend the auto-finalize time because I'm going on vacation while package is awol (but I'm sure the vendor sent it). Don't want to auto-finalize and get a black mark as a buyer. Thanks for your help.  I already read the FAQ and it says the "resolve" should be clickable and then I can work on the situation, but as I said, my "resolve" is NOT clickable (only finalize is clickable for me). THANKS.

So both of your orders have been in transit 10 days or more? 'Cause that's when the resolve button becomes clickable:

"If your order hasn't come after waiting 10 days, you should click "resolve" next to it on your orders page. This will put the order into resolution. Read all of the instructions in the Resolution Center, and try to come to an agreeable resolution with your vendor."

As plainsman said - has your order been in transit for 10 days or more? If not, resolution is not an option.  If you place your cursor over the resolve button it should tell you how many more days until you are able to utilize this function.

Thanks for your responses. I haven't had an order take more than 2 days before, so I never got to the 10-day mark or even thought about 'resolve'.  That makes sense.  Live and learn.

(It's probably a good thing us newbies under 50 posts are restricted to the forum 'playpen' where we can crash into the walls without making idiots of ourselves on the general discussion board -- lol).

Thanks again.

No problem... some can take weeks to receive, it all depends on how it's shipped and from where.
