Title: No response...listings taken down. What to do?
Post by: cuteepatootiec on August 15, 2013, 11:39 pm
Hey everyone.
Couldn't find anything like this in the FAQ's so sorry if I am re-posting an old topic. I ordered something two days ago from a vendor with great feedback. He had several listings up so i assumed he was open for business. I messaged him saying hello before sending my order in, then sent it. It's been two full days now with no response whatsoever. I went to look over my order again, but now when you click on the item, It says "this item is not currently listed." If you go to the vendor's page, it now says he has no active listings. Because of this and the fact that he hasn't responded, I'm beginning to get worried. I'm pressed for time and it will take four days before I can cancel my order. Has this happened to anyone else before. Is there anything I can do?

Thanks in advance!
Sunshine

I have had the same issue, Have been a buyer on the road for quite awhile. bought a product from a vendor with good stats at beginning of the week with express post and haven't received it. Vendor contacted me earlier in the week saying he had sent it and wished me to FE......i suggested I was hesitant to do that as it had taken so long to arrive already but if  he could provide a tracking    number i would consider it.

he now won't respond to any messages, vendor page is in stealth mode with no products listed and product still hasn't arrived after a full week. I don't want to wait another 14 days before i can resolve through SR and try to get my money back.

All i really want is the product I paid for and some honest answers what can i do?

cuteepatootiec-  As long as the order hasn't been processed it should automatically cancel out.  I wouldn't worry about it too much.  Sometimes vendors run out of product or something comes up and they cannot get the order in.  It looks like the vendor you used has a good track record so I would just give them the time they need for right now.  Also, for those who are curious the vendor is suboxone.

poppydog- Yes, you are allowed and even encouraged to mention the vendor's name so others can see who the vendor is and share similar stories if there's a history of "questionable" behavior.  Remember, this is a feedback-based peer-to-peer market.  You also shouldn't have to FE, and the order should still be completed.  I would give it some more time since the money is still in escrow to see if the package arrives.  Just because they are in stealth-mode doesn't mean that they didn't or won't ship the order.  If you don't have the product in hand within a few days of the 14 then put the order in resolution.
