Title: buyer doesnt accept delivery and the parcel becomes return to sender
Post by: life on August 09, 2013, 10:43 am
Hi I'm a very new vendor. Everything has been going sweet an tile today I checked on my traks and one of my deliveries came up with. Name of person not known at address. I've had a little experience with this and know that the parcel is gone now. I am assuming my customer does not know yet, I'm not even positive which customer it is yet, but am sure to find out soon because he will be the only one not to finalize.

This is 100% the customers fuck up I don't believe I should pay for his mistake, in any way shape or form, buy receiving bad feedback from him or loosing my money.

What should I do please help.

What country are you in? This could be a post office f*** up as I had this happen before with a package I bought off amazon. Postman messed up and went to wrong house. Amazon had to resend it but they were reimbursed by the post office since the PO made the mistake.

Did you use a return address? The parcel is likely going to be opened and the contents handed over to the authorities. I sure hope that your tracking was not done in a way that can be traced back to you.

Good advice WhiteShark.  Yes, I would be concerned over whatever is on the package.  I also hope you weren't tracking the package from a connection outside of TOR.  If neither one of these are the case then yeah, it seems the buyer or the delivery company screwed up.  The order will likely go into resolution mode and depending on your policies set up in advance you have to decide how you want the order handled from this point on.
