I apparently have an old version of the wallet - 0.6.3-beta and I sent coins to it the other day and they haven't been received. There are over 19,000 blocks remaining, and 8 active connections. I'm assuming it will take a few days to receive these coins? I know I should have upgraded to the current version, but I haven't used the wallet in over 6 months and it never took days to receive coins. I'm just looking for reassurance that my coins will arrive eventually, because I don't understand the technology. Thanks.

in theory they should get there just the same, just give it some time. I think you already know you should keep the verions you use updated.
