This thread won't be locked because selling organs is not prohibited here. I'm not sure how it would work or how you'd ensure that what you're receiving is viable or healthy, but I do know that DPR does not prohibit that.

I remember a person speaking about that over a year ago and DPR said no. Because when you allow organ selling than that encourages people to kill others and sell there organs or other such terrible things. Same reason that hit man services are not allowed.

Yes, I'm sure, because at first I thought it was not allowed, but then DPR corrected me and let me know that it is not prohibited. I've sent him a PM just to triple check and to make sure that hasn't changed since he initial told me, and I'll post back here if/when I receive a response.

Honestly there are a lot of people out there who wish they could sell there extra kidney for profit. A lot of people need money for whatever purpose yet have no connection to be able to sell an organ.
I currently am lacking in funds and would love to be able to sell my O- kidney via escrow.
That guy who said 1500$ was either joking or retarded. A perfect condition O- kidney like mine in the United States will fetch 300,000$ any day minus doctor fee's/ transportation fee's.
On the same token my kidney would only get me about 100,000$ in the Middle East and as low as 15,000 in Asia.

Does this not stand with the very principles of libertarianism/ the Silk Road. That a person is free to do whatever he chooses with his own person as long as that act does not infringe on the well being of others.

I have actually figured out a good system for this. I honestly was about to set up a site doing it myself, but this would be so much better.

If you don't ask me any questions and can provide me a blood type and don't mind getting drifter organs send me a PM. I can get you a kidney and make a custom listing. I can't ask for FE, so it will cost you roughly $40,000. The cost goes up on how high class of a kidney you want. High end kidneys run 50-70k + depending on the source.

I think organs can be sent through the mail properly. I had a friend who worked at UPS and he saw organ boxes packed in dry ice. It's logistically possible.

There is a small time period from when the organ is taken out to when it needs to go back in a body. Otherwise it will go bad. Certain body parts can last on ice, but not a kidney.
And the idea is for people to sell there own kidneys. I can't imagine the road would support the idea of killing people and harvesting them.

It's possible to remove a kidney from the human body without death with proper medical procedure and anesthetic and monitoring of vital signs. I'd just need actual verification and maybe some upfront good faith money to setup a sterile environment and find a donor. You only need one kidney... all I need is a bit of midazolam and fentanyl and one of my friends who was a field medic and a few hours and a motel room.

It's illegal to sell organs in the US. I think you can thank Al Gore for that. It's that reason that the family of Henrietta Lacks hasn't received any compensation from the role her HeLa cells have played in medical science. I'm not trying to scare anyone away from anything. You want to sell a kidney then sell a kidney.
A type o- kidney is rather rare, so if you have a kidney and need someone to handle escrow cut me in a percentage. I try to stock unique items and I think selling a kidney would be pretty boss. I'm not sure how I would be able to coyly get a hold of some medical records and track down a kidney anyway.
Scolopamine ought to make someone a willing donor though. Just saying.

Just as a disclaimer. No, I am not being serious about scrounging discarded medical records for a match, stalking and drugging a drifter and harvesting their organs to sell on Silk Road. Drifter kidneys are probably not the highest quality kidneys. I did recommend meetakidney.com a few months ago. I think it would be a cool, social media like setting where you can look at people's profiles and pick out a kidney.
You meet up, give the other party a "donation" and get your organ. The website would have ads and make commission for revenue.

while i agree with the philosophy of its my body and i can sell it if i want,i think the ban is largely to stop people from dening the relatives wish to be an organ donor, then try to sell them piecemeal to highest bidders. also it would freeze the poor and middle class out of getting need donor organs? or am i being dumb? i'm probably being dumb.

Also one of the ways is you pay said person for there organ. They go to the hospital say they would like to donate it to that person, then transaction complete and escrow is released.
As long as the hospital believes you are selflessly donating your organ for no gain you should be fine.

But seriously if you buy a kidney how you expect on surgically implantin' it into your body? Seems like the best place to get a kidney is at a hospital who does implant operations with donated organs. Safest place.
