Title: Whats going to happen with my order?
Post by: Highcoast on August 01, 2013, 04:43 pm
The Vendor snogubbe might be going rogue, i've read on several forums that he has alot of unresponded mails and that he have some orders that has yet not arrived.
I didn't know that when I ordered tho, so I have 5 btc just hanging @ escrow, and he removed all of his listings except one.
(I ordered just after the last maintenance yesterday, and then he had the listings there)'

Will my cash just diseapper?

My order has taken more then one week (domestic) usually takes 1-2 days max. Has not answered any of my pm:s the last 6 days.
I really hope i get my money back from escrow if he decides to take off!

Stay in escrow and don't finalize, then go to the resolution center, that should get you your BTC back. But if it is a scam vendor might have some dodgy tracking info that might show delivery but it might be from some other order (not yours) to some zip code nowhere near you possibly.

The order just made it into transit, should I finalize or wait for the package to arrive?
I do trust the guy, he seems really nice. But at the same time I don't want to lose my cash if he's going avol soon. :p

Do NOT finalize before you have the package in your hand!
I have waited over a week for my latest order from him so something is definitely wrong.
He does not even read my pm:s, they are unopened.

FINALIZE is for when you have the parcel, after you finalize your money is gone and you agree it's ok. Stay in escrow no matter what.

Stay in escrow.  That way, if you never receive the package, you can apply for a refund.  You probably will also want to click on "Resolve" once that option becomes available.

Okay.
The thing is that the vendor wants people with less then 5 purchases to Finalize Early, which I did with my first purchase with him.

Let's play with the thought that the parcel doesn't arrive tomorrow/monday. And I have to resolve and everything that comes with that process.. since I only have 2 purchases in total (Including this one) will it not make my stats look really bad so other vendors wont allow me to purchase merchandise from them?

So you already finalized the order?  If that's the case, then I'm afraid there's nothing that can be done if the order doesn't arrive.  You already released the funds to the vendor, so they're not being held in escrow.

Like hell I did, I did it the first time ordered from him. But I haven't done it this time, but I PMed him and told him that I wouldn't want to FE because of the talk that has been going on. If he has sent it I think he accept the fact that I didn't FE, because he did send me my first parcel before I FE'd. (Maybe I made a good impression)

But about my stats, if he's scamming me, what's going to happend with my ''reputation''..?

Bless

If you receive a refund, that will be reflected in your stats unless the refund is due to the vendor being banned.

No problem!  I'm going to go ahead and lock this thread as your question has been answered.  Definitely take it to resolution before it auto-finalizes on you, just in case.  Good luck!!!
