UPDATE (2218 UTC): Ok, we are in the process of rolling back.
UPDATE (2130 UTC): This update isn't going as smoothly as I had hoped. We're going to give it 20 more minutes to debug and if we can't then we'll roll back to the previous configuration and reassess.
UPDATE (2054 UTC): The site is live again, but very slow to respond. we are working out the kinks and should have things running smoothly again soon.
UPDATE: we're going to take the site down again here in a minute for about half an hour.
UPDATE: ...and we're back!
UPDATE: I'm going to keep the site offline for a while longer, up to half an hour, just to make sure everything is ok before we come back up. will update at 1900 UTC if anything changes.
Hey, had to take the site down for a minute. Will have it back up asap.

You can say that again, very crucial.
For all of us just getting home on the East Coast it's almost 5pm, and the post office closes at 5pm, so my packages now won't be shipped out until tomorrow. I'm not complaining to DPR, because without you none of this would be here, but middle of the night would be better!!!

Right time to get soppy...........thank you DPR for your continued love and care of this wonderful platform. You'll never know (you probably do by now hehe) how much this place means to ALOT of people. It's only your hard work and dedication that this place is made possible,can't imagine how much work is actually needed to fix bugs,update,maintain the servers,etc.
So yeah BIG thank you dude that you can find the time to actually update us like you do.

Slow as molasses then takes awhile to validate password-I am sure I am entering it correctly.
The captchas are truncated.
Not sure if this is stemming from an attack. Hope I don't have to go over to BMR.

I've been on and off. Sometimes getting booted and getting 3 # captchas, runs slow no matter what, but I've been able to get some stuff done. It might take 3 cycles of login, get booted, refresh captcha, login, etc but eventually getting stuff done. I'm confident it will get better. I know DPR hates every second it's down.

A heads up is a preemptive warning. This was not a heads up. That would be like kicking a soccer ball into someones head then yelling "HEADS UP!" ten minutes later... ::) DPR informed us about ten minutes after the site was taken down. I warned everyone about four minutes after the site was taken down. A heads up would have been great though so we could go into overdrive and mark some orders in transit that we know we will be shipping later...

I got all excited that I could get in, place my order I can't wait for, then realized WTF good is placing an order if the vendor can't get to it? I guess the bright side is I don't need to keep fighting to get in but its a false sense of satisfaction. Doesn't sound like an attack type deal though more some updating and tweeking shit so hopefully we aren't talking many hours of this. No upside to DPR and his team to have it down one minute longer than it needs to be.

It figures, my first day being active as a vendor, we get downtime. ;-)
Im in. Clicked around a bit but am still in. Refreshed the page when the captcha was not complete and got a good one. However I must thank the powers-that-be for this great opportunity and know downtimes are necessary hiccups to keep the empire running smooth.
